Wow! I didn’t think Too Faced could wow me so much after the Bon Bon set. However, this lovely Sweet Indulgences Palette from Sephora is so nice and makes either a great gift for you or someone else. Available either in store or online at www.sephora.com for $52.00, it has an amazing array of items that will make the Too Faced Cosmetics fan very happy. There are 16 eyeshadows, a full size Shadow Insurance primer, 2 bronzers, a highlighter, 2 blushes a double ended eyeshadow brush and three looks put together all in a cute pink tin.
I am going to discuss the eyeshadows right now. Generally I found that they have pretty good pigmentation. As with all eyeshadows, the lighter ones suffered from pigmentation issues (not enough) but you can still see them in the swatches. The shadows are smooth and had just a slight bit of fallout when I put them on for the look that I did. This palette had more fanciful colors than the Bon Bon palette (which is odd, considering the name), and if you like colors I suggest you get this one.
The first two rows are:
In The Buff (matte white), Peach Fuzz (glittery peach), Marshmallow (shimmery light gold), Lovey Dovey (darkest shimmery brown), Copper Penny (shimmery dark rose gold), Teddy Bear (dark matte cool taupe brown), Gum Drop (medium shimmery pink), Malted Milk Ball (shimmery ash brown).
Second two rows:
Satin Sheets (shimmery cool pink), Nice Stems! (shimmery green), Nice Ash (slightly shimmery blue gray), Cherry Cola (glittery reddish brown), Honeymoon (shimmery greenish-gold), Pastille (dark shimmery forest green), Cop a Teal (shimmery teal), Black Sugar (glittery black with silver).
Exclusive Bronzer (medium-dark matte bronzer), Sun Bunny Light (pinkish bronzer), Candlelight Glow (pinkish-gold highlighter)
La Vie en Rose blush (bright pink matte blush), Papa Don’t Peach blush (slightly shimmery bright peach blush).
I did the Brown Sugar look that they have suggested. For primer I used Shadow Insurance, which really does make eyeshadow last all day! On the eyes: In the Buff on the brow, Lovey Dovey in the crease and on the outer edge of the eye. Copper Penny on the lid blended up into Lovey Dovey. Then Cherry Cola lining the upper and lower lids. For mascara I used Too Faced Cosmetics Lashgasm. On my cheeks I used Papa Don’t Peach from the middle to the hairline and the above I used Candlelight Glow highlighter. If you would like to glow more, it suggests using Sun Bunny light bronzer. On my lips I used Glamour Gloss in Pillow Talk.
This is a great palette to snag if you are a Too Faced fan or even if you are just a fan of eyeshadow palettes. Even if you just need a gift for someone who is into makeup, this is perfect! Sephora always partners with the best. Because it had blush, bronzers and a full size eyeshadow primer (which is really quite excellent and I highly recommend) in addition to all the great eyeshadows, this palette comes in at a great value. If you had the eyeshadows alone, they would come to $3.25 each! The quality is wonderful. Really, can I gush anymore? I am very happy to have purchased this. I didn’t get this as a freebie. Too Faced, are you hearing me? I love your products!!!!!
