I am excited. In case you didn’t know, I fancy myself as something of a peel addict. For me, a chemical peel is just about the best skincare solution someone can do on their skin short of plastic surgery. When alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA) and beta-hydroxy acids (BHA) were first discovered and used skincare routines, spas and physicians offices, most people tended to go overboard because they really wanted to get the most out of the chemical peel. Now we do know that they can damage the skin if used too much or used improperly.
Jan Marini Skin Research has always been at the forefront of the AHA and BHA research and use. Now she introduces three new peel systems that can literally take your skin to a level it has never seen before. Each peel is unique, is very advanced, has multiple benefits, progressive enhancement. Peels work by taking off the dead skin cells and even some of the “good, live” skin cells we have. The deeper the penetration of the peel, the better the results. Each peel has two steps: the peel itself and a retinol activator that combines retinol, peptides and anti-inflammatories. These steps work together to bring out new, fresh looking wonderful skin!
Here are the three new peels in the Jan Marini Peel System:
The Refine peel is good for overall rejuvenation, fine lines and wrinkles. It brightens the skin, letting its luminosity show through. It also addresses skin texture, mild acne and mild pigmentation problems such as sun damage and age spots. The peel consists of lactic acid, citric acid and salicylic acid.
The Transform Peel is for more serious acne. It contains lactic acid, salicylic acid, mandelic and resorcinol. These acids work to help clear follicles for maximum results. This peel is also great for resurfacing and rejuvenation on ethnic skin.
The last peel in the series is the Clarify peel. It is also for acne and oily skin. Salicylic and mandelic acid work to help clear follicles and scarring on acneic skin and darker skin tones.
These peels are available only through professionals, such as estheticians and physicians. You may go to www.janmarini.com to find out where you can find a patient consultation.
Looks delicious. Thanks for sharing your recipe. Happy blogging!
