The BB cream wave has swept the US. Most cosmetic companies have a version of a BB cream. Revlon’s latest offering into the BB cream category is a lightweight, multi-benefit cream that hydrates like a moisturizer, smoothes skin like a primer, covers like a foundation and blurs flaws like a concealer; all while protecting skin with a broad spectrum SPF 30. And thanks to PhotoReady technology, photochromatic pigments bend and reflect light so skin looks radiant and flawless under the harshest light. What sets Revlon PhotoReady BB CreamTM Skin Perfector apart from other BB creams is that it provides substantial coverage while protecting skin with a very high broad spectrum SPF 30, so that it is perfect for days when heavy foundation just doesn’t make sense. It comes in 3 shades: Light, Light/Medium and Medium so that it works for a variety of skin tones.
I have worn this several times, and compared to ALL of the other BB creams I have tried, the coverage level of the Revlon PhotoReady BB CreamTM Skin Perfector is similar to that of the the higher end BB creams. That makes it between a foundation and a tinted moisturizer. I found that it has light to medium buildable coverage, so that if I apply more I can attain the coverage I need. I have even used it as a concealer, on days when my eyes don’t have major dark circles. It does smooth like a primer and hydrates the skin quite well. It has glycerin and hyaluronic acid that act as humectants and attract moisture to the skin. There are also many plant extracts in this BB cream that are moisturizing as well. The broad spectrum SPF ingredients are a mixture of chemical and mineral agents though. They are Octinoxate 7.5%, Octisalate 5.0% and Titanium Dioxide 6.5%.

So, Revlon PhotoReady BB CreamTM Skin Perfector is pretty great. As you can see it makes my skin looks almost flawless. This cream is great for just about any skin types. I would suggest that if you have oilier skin, skip the moisturizer before using it. And you don’t need a primer before this, as it acts a primer too. This is something that I could see myself wearing almost all year long. And most of all, the color match is not too bad. I usually have a hard time finding a color match because I a so pale. With this BB cream I spread out the color on my skin and it kind of disappears and makes my face look radiant. I am definitely happy about that!
