Just in time for fall, SEPHORA introduces a new cutting edge, lightweight mist foundation. SEPHORA Perfection Mist Airbrush Foundation has MicroFine pigments that spray seamlessly onto the face for a smooth, matte finish. It comes in five skin-perfect shades that flatter all complexions. The InstaBlend technology helps to lay the color smoothly onto the skin, allowing you to build the coverage to the desired level with every spray. Red Algae Extract helps to protect skin from environmental stressors and helps to smooth the skin’s appearance. The waterproof, oil-free formula controls shine and guarantees wear for up to ten hours!
The first thing I noticed when I tried this was how fine and evenly it sprayed. Usually I put on my foundation with a brush or a BeautyBlender sponge ($19.95, www.sephora.com). With this, I sprayed it over my face and then blended it out with the BeautyBlender to even out the coverage. Great application can also be obtained with the new Classic Mineral Powder Brush #45, which can be used for dry mineral foundations or liquid foundations (the Taklon bristles make it great for just about anything!), $26.00. The color I had to try out was a little too dark, but I have something to lighten up a foundation to help make it the right color for me. I love how this sprays on evenly and just needs to be blended in a little bit. Hold the can 3-4 inches from your face to spray it on. The coverage is buildable, which is nice because it sprays on as a medium coverage foundation and can be built up to heavier coverage. Once dried it does kind of “lock-in” and it wears forever (at least 10 hours) and doesn’t budge. I hope that they make more colors in this foundation. I think this is going to be a hit! After trying it several times I can say that it is in my new Top 10 foundations (these are ever changing with the onslaught of new products all the time).
SEPHORA Perfection Mist Airbrush Foundation retails for $26.00 and is available from SEPHORA stores and www.sephora.com. Take a look at my other reviews on the new Fall products from SEPHORA, such as the SEPHORA + PANTONE UNIVERSE Elemental Energy Eye Shadow Palette (http://bit.ly/16Wy7Lc), Molten Liquid Eye Liner Set (http://bit.ly/1dFtREG) and the Jumbo Waterproof Eye Pencils (http://bit.ly/1cUq34G). I have a few more items that I will be reviewing. Look out for them!

DeleteThis sounds amazing! I love the idea of it being a spray, although that's probably just the novelty factor. Once again, I'm wishing we had Sephora in the UK... Great review :)
