SEPHORA PANTONE UNIVERSE Elemental Energy Jumbo Waterproof Eye Pencil

In conjunction with the Elemental Energy Eye Shadow Palette ($38.00, http://bit.ly/16Wy7Lc), SEPHORA also presents four Elemental Energy Jumbo Waterproof Eye Pencils that are inspired by Earth, Air, Water and Fire ($17.00, www.sephora.com).

The four shades are: Shark (shimmering silvery gray), Elderberry (shimmering smoky lavender), Parisian Night (shimmering dark navy blue) and Brownstone (shimmering coppery bronze). Believe me, these are definitely waterproof! When I went to swatch them, I used a lot of soap and water to scrub them off my hand. To use, apply and either use a brush or your fingers to blend out the color. I use a brush personally, as I find I can get more control. I found that I do have to be quick to blend as the pencils dry fast and then the color is locked! You can build the coverage up to how much you would like too. The best thing is, there isn’t any creasing with these. I have been wearing these for hours now and I expected some creasing but nope, nada! For me that is just about the best thing about these pencils. They do blend fairly well, but once the color is dried it doesn’t budge.  I think they give a nice smoky look that is hot for fall!

For my look below, I used NARS Radiant Cream Foundation in Siberia (www.sephora.com), Parisian Night all over the lid and under the eye to line. I blended it upward quickly and used Elderberry just above in the crease and blended it outward under the brow. Then I lined my upper lid with SEPHORA Long Lasting Ultra Vinyl Eyeliner in Patent Black (www.sephora.com). On my lips I used Hourglass Femme Rouge in Whisper ($30.00, www.sephora.com).

The SEPHORA + PANTONE UNIVERSE Elemental Energy Eye Waterproof Eye Pencils are a great way to get another hot look for fall: the smoky look. My favorite thing about them is that the color doesn’t crease or budge in any way once it is locked in, so they are truly waterproof. I am able to use them to get a nice defined look with the tip or use the entire pencil to smudge it and get a softer, smoky look. Kudos to SEPHORA for another great product!
