Review: Bare Love Beauty Luxury Skin Fuel

Launched in September 2012, Bare Love Beauty is a line dedicated to bringing indulgent skin treatments to women. Rebecca Cook, founder and international beauty expert, wanted a line with all-natural, eco-friendly, simple and extremely luxurious products that women would find essential to their beauty regimen. Formulated from the brand’s Olio-LoveTM, Technology (a technology that visibly transforms and secures liquid oils into buttery soft fuss-free FIRM oils. Each product time-releases an all-natural blend of pure, skin compatible oils from around the world). The oils are micro-encapsulated and form a veil that immediately restores moisture and provides an instant barrier upon application.

I was lucky enough to try their Night-time Recovery Treatment, Luxury Skin Fuel. They have two other great products bare love beautyright now, Luxury Body Fuel, Daily Recovery Treatment and Luxury Hair Fuel, Hair and Scalp Treatment. All of the products are blends of the Olio-LoveTM Technology, which is a great way to take oils and use them as a gateway to treat the skin, body and scalp.

The packaging is great, as it has an airless pump that does not let air in and keeps the product fresh. I feel the best way to apply it is to cleanse the skin, apply one pump onto cleansed skin and gently pat all over the face. Luxury Skin Fuel is for every skin type. As the product feels “oily” in nature, it is best to use right before bed. It sinks into the skin overnight and does not leave any residue in the morning or break my skin out in any way.

Luxury Skin Fuel_swatchLuxury Skin Fuel has ingredients such as sunflower seed oil, olive leaf extract, safflower oil, Rice Bran Oil and Vitamin E to help guard against free radical damage. These ingredients and others (coconut oil and orange oil) are great for inflammation and irritation of the skin. The product is thick in nature and feels oily to the touch. When applying it is best to gently rub in and use instead of any other moisturizers. I like to use it after peels too, as it is a good product for soothing the skin. I also like that I can use it on the eye area without any problems. I love how the oils sink into the skin so that in the morning I wake up with soft, supple skin and no oily residue on my face. To me that is awesome. As you can see here, in the photograph, Luxury Skin Fuel is translucent and not too thick. It does not absorb right away but is more of a treatment than a moisturizer. I love this because of the way it make my skin feel. When I wake up in the morning it is as if I had baby skin! LOVE!!!!!

Luxury Skin Fuel comes in a 1.67 oz./50ml. container and is $58.00. It is available at www.barelovebeauty.com, www.dermstore.com and New Beauty at Fred Segal.
