This sponge is derived from the Konjac root that has grown Asia and was introduced in Japan over 1,500 years ago for its detoxifying powers. This sponge is a great cleanser and detoxifier. It gently exfoliates and lifts impurities from the skin, balancing it for a flawless complexion. It is so gentle it can even be used on the eye area! To use the sponge, run under tap water to soften the sponge and use in conjunction with your normal cleanser. Massage and buff skin to cleanse and exfoliate. Rinse and allow to air dry for next use.
The best thing about this sponge is that it can be used in the eye area or for even the most sensitive skins. I used it on my eyes, not to get makeup off, but just to try some extra cleansing after I removed my eye makeup. The sponge cleanses quite well and is very gentle but cleanses thoroughly. Also, use only a tiny bit of cleanser with the sponge, as it acts to help boost the power of the cleanser. What is great about the sponge is that you can move it around on the face fairly hard and it doesn’t pull the skin hard. It exfoliates well and leaves the skin feeling very soft and supple.
