Let’s face it, a young girl’s skin is not the same as the skin of a young woman in her 30’s, 40’s or 50’s. The ideal solution for this issue is to have a skincare system specifically made for young women in their tweens and teens. And this system should be all natural if possible, to keep the skin looking gorgeous. It needs to be effective and it needs to address acne, the scourge of all teens. My daughter has issues with all acne skincare because she has very sensitive skin and cannot use benzoyl peroxide or even salicylic acid. I was very happy that she was able to test out the Bellaboo products, as they are a great alternative to the regular skincare and acne products on the market. I was hoping that these items would help calm and heal her skin. The Bellaboo line is 99.5% all natural with zero chemicals added.

My daughter was able to test out a few of the products so she was able to give a good analysis of these items. She tested them for about 3 weeks.
All That Clean Skin Facial Wash
A sulfate free cleanser that is extremely gentle yet removes makeup, dirt, impurities and daily grime from the skin. Has botanicals that deeply cleanse and fight bacteria to keep acne away and leave skin soft. Has a lemon myrtle scent. Has a nice lather but is not overpowering. Make sure to cleanse skin twice a day, always and be sure to remove all traces of makeup! My daughter loves this cleanser even though her skin is sensitive.
Buff Skin Facial Exfoliator
This exfoliant contains finely ground particles of Indian Bamboo and Rice Bran powder that take away all the nasty dead skin cells. The scrub helps to brighten skin, get rid of dirt and oil and keep pores free of debris. Young skin doesn’t need to exfoliate as much, you just need to make sure to do it at least once a week. Once you are around 18 and up, do it 2-3 times a week. Also, don’t use this if you have infected pimples! My daughter also likes this item a lot and loves that it is so gentle on the skin. I have to admit that I love it too!
Gorgeous Skin Moisturize Dew
Even younger skins need moisturize. This moisturizer is light, sinks right into skin and is great for all skin types (even oily skin). It is free of chemicals and has vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants that work to help keep skin looking young and beautiful. The only thing missing in my opinion, is a mineral sunscreen. I think this product would benefit from it. But it is a great moisturizer. My daughter loves it and she has skin that reacts to everything. She can use this with no problem at all!
E Z Zit Blitz Serum
I think this is the best product in the whole line. It helps mild to moderate acne without any of the horrible drying, redness and irritation that is associated with acne products. As I mentioned, my daughter has sensitive skin and cannot use any of the normal acne solutions for the very few blemishes she gets. Can be used as a spot treatment to help heal blemishes or as as serum all over the face to prevent acne twice a day. This serum helps tremendously. It heals within a day and causes none of the side effects, like extreme drying. All because of natural ingredients that are soothing to the skin yet take care of the bacteria and redness that are the bane of acne skin! LOVE!!!!
Berry Nice Face Fix Face Mask
This mask is like taking a bowl of berries and using them on your face it is so nice! Anti-oxidants and exfoliants that make skin look gorgeous, fresh and smooth for a big night out! Use a thick layer over face, lay back and let it stay on for 10-15 minutes. Tingling is normal. This is a great mask to freshen up skin. Use once a week for best results. My daughter is a mask freak like me and loves this! She likes to pretend she is getting a facial by me and does the whole shebang.
The best thing about this line, other than the great price range, is that it works! My daughter suffers from mild acne with just a few blemishes and severely sensitive skin. She was able to use Bellaboo without any problems at all. She is not really able to use any other lines but one, so this is great. And so far, this is the only line she is able to use that has anything for acne. I do think that the acne serum is good for mild to moderate acne, if your daughter has severe acne it might not work as well. But, the all natural goodness of this line is wonderful and doesn’t make it less effective at all. In fact, I do believe it makes it more effective! I find myself reaching for a couple of the items and I am well beyond the target audience at 42 years old. Is that wrong? I don’t think so, as long as it works!
