Review: Blush Mystery Monthly Beauty Box #Blush

Blush Mystery Monthly Beauty Box

I mentioned before that I am a huge monthly beauty box junkie. I love getting curated boxes of goodies every month tucked into beautiful boxes or lovely drawstring bags that open to reveal awesome contents! The wonderful people at Blush have a great monthly beauty bag that I know you will love! Their Blush Mystery Monthly Beauty Box is packed to the brim with makeup and skincare that you will actually use! I received a box from them to try out. In this box was a plethora of products that I hadn’t actually tried out before! That was great, because I was anxious to try out some new brands.

The Blush Mystery Monthly Beauty Box is $24.95 per month for a subscription or $34.95 to try it out once. The shipping is free and there are a limited amount of subscriptions available, so you had better hurry if you want to get in with this one! Most of the products in the box are full size, there are usually a couple of sample sizes included. Also, there is a free gift offered with the box too! Products in the box are worth around $100, which is a large amount compared to other monthly boxes.

Here is what I received in my box (all full size except where noted):

  • Lumene Vitamin C+ Pure Radiance 24h Lotion
  • Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Glow Pad (Anti-Aging Exfoliating Self-Tanner for Face With Active Vitamin D)
  • Philip B Self Adjusting Hair Spray
  • Hydroxatone AM/PM Anti-Wrinkle Complex
  • Deborah Lippmann Nail Enamel in Ray of Light
  • Bioelements Quick Refiner sample
  • Emani Organic Lip Shine in Blush

Only one item was a sample size, that was the Bioelements Quick Refiner sample. Everything else was full size. What I really like is the fact that there was such a nice variety of skincare and cosmetics. In most beauty sample boxes there is usually a lean toward a items from Blush sample mystery boxtheme, which is fine, but this is a nice change. The sample box I received was curated by makeup artist Elle Leary (Hollywood go-to-glam-girl), her work has been featured in Harper’s Bazaar, Teen Vogue and Foam.

I was so excited to try out the Bioelements Quick Refiner sample, as it is full of AHAs, and I am known for using alpha hydroxy acids all the time! I have used the Dr, Dennis Gross pads and they are quite nice. They give a wonderful light glow to the skin all the while exfoliating at the same time. Deborah Lippmann nail polish is legendary in the business. It’s so full of glitter and pop!

I was so happy with the sample box I received that I went ahead and decided to get a monthly subscription for the box. Yes, I added it on to my splurges, but I felt that it is worth it. I love that these items are are full size, there is a good variety of items in the box and that these are items I will definitely use. I am adding this box to the top of my list of monthly subscription boxes!

Blush is also associated with the sites Dermstore and HairEnvy. Not only can you subscribe to the box at Blush, but you can purchase the products that they send to you. They have numerous brands on hand. On the site they also have Daily Deals, where some products are at an extreme discount. Those are one day only deals and these are great to grab if you are interested in the product. Also, there is a referral program (after you complete a purchase at the store). If you join and refer a friend, the friend can get $10 off the Blush Mystery Beauty Box. And you earn a $10 reward every time a new friend makes a purchase.
