I was able to try a new line lately, Elizabeth Grant. This is a Canadian skincare and cosmetics line. I tried their Biocollasis™ Complex Advanced Cellular Age Defense Eye Power Pads and the Beautiful Colors Eye Shadow Palette, which I will review later. The Eye Power Pads are a wonderful way to treat the eye area to a “mask”. These pads smooth out the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and help decrease puffiness and make dark circles appear lighter.

How do they do all of this? They have an ingredient called Torricelumn™, which is a superior moisturizing compound that keeps skin extremely hydrated. Collagen helps to rebuild elasticiy and smooth the appearance of the skin’s surface. The anti-oxidant Niacinimide will increase ceramide production to smooth the appearance of the skin. Vitamin E helps to decrease fine lines. They have Vitamin B to promote luminosity of the skin around the eye. Meadowsweet extract is nourishing and toning to the skin. The humectant hyaluronic acid helps to hydrate the skin around the eye. Citric acid acts to and Vitamin K act to keep the lighten the skin around the eyes.

I tested these out myself to see if all of these claims worked. My main concerns are puffiness and minor dark circles. To use, take them out and apply one on under each eye. These are extremely wet. There is enough emulsion in the mask to make sure that the eyes get a lot of “juice”. Leave on for 15 minutes. This is the hard part. Most people don’t want to lay down for 15 minutes with their eyes closed. It is a good idea to use a facial mask at the same time, so you get more benefits. After use, take the extra emulsion and pat into the under eye area. Look in the mirror an voila! Puffiness is reduced and dark circles are definitely lightened. Wow, these pads are awesome. I especially like how the puffiness reduced, since that is my main concern.

Biocollasis™ Complex Advanced Cellular Age Defense Eye Power Pads come in a pack of 6 for $38.00, or one is $7.50. They are available at www.elizabethgrant.com.
