MyChelle Dermaceuticals is the #1 brand of facial skincare in the natural products industry. They were founded in 2000 and are obsessed with creating the most effective, non-toxic skincare products. Their products deliver results without toxic chemicals or unnatural ingredients. MyChelle products contain plant-stem cells from the Buddleja, Edelweiss, and Gotu Kola plants. There are a number of peptides such as Matrixyl® synthe’6™, Miracle Peptide Complex, Syn®Coll, ProTeasyl TP®, ChroNOline™, Melanostatine®5 and SYN®-TACKS that treat a number of skincare concerns. The highest level of Vitamin C, 17% L-Ascorbic Acid that absorbs deeply into the skin is uses as is the purest form of Retinoid (Vitamin A) to aid in the fight against fine lines and wrinkles. To preserve the products they use Plantservative (Japanese Honeysuckle) and GeoGuard instead of toxic chemicals, these are internationally approved ingredients that are safe and non-toxic.

MyChelle creates skin-type specific products with formulas to fit a number of skin conditions and issues. The products are developed by estheticians. Packaging is green with 100% FSC-certified, PCW paperboard boxes and recyclable containers.

I became interested in MyChelle when I saw it on HauteLook. I was able to try a number of the products and I must say, these are just about the best “natural” skincare products I have ever tried. Let’s discuss all of the products I was able to try!

Sensitive Line:

hello beautiful collection

Hello Beautiful Collection $20.00: This set contains little trial size travel products or as a sample set. It contains the Pure Harmony Cleanser, Pure Harmony Mask, Pure Harmony Serum, Pure Harmony Mist, Pure Harmony Cream, Sun Shield SPF 28 Unscented.

Pure Harmony Cleanser: A delicate, hydrating non-foaming cleanser with nutrient-rich Sea Buckthorn. Massage on skin with warm water. and rinse completely. This cleanser is a non foaming cleanser and is great for those who need a milky cleanser that will soothe the skin and help keep lipids on the skin, non stripping and non-drying.

Pure Harmony Mask (1-3 times a week): Is a soothing, restorative mask with Arnica and Magnolia. Apply a generous amount after cleansing. Avoid eye area. Leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm to cool water. Use to get rid of inflammation, redness or irritation to skin. Is also good after peels! I like to use this to restore balance to skin when I have had a peel. Can be used to help sunburned skin too.

Pure Harmony Serum: An antioxidant-rich serum to help calm and reduce the signs of aging. Apply after cleansing. Serums may be layered for multiple benefits. I use this with other serums, this is good for first signs of aging skin, fine lines and photo-aging.

Pure Harmony Mist: This nutrient-dense mist reawakens tired skin without irritation. With eyes closed, hold pump 12 inches from face and mist after cleansing and applying serums. Can also use as a toner after cleansing skin. I feel that my skin tingles some after using this toner, but only in a good way, no stinging.

Pure Harmony Cream: A rich, nourishing cream with Gardenia Plant Stem Cells. Apply to face and neck. It sinks right into skin and helps keep moisture level in place.

Sun Shield Unscented Broad Spectrum SPF 28: A wonderful chemical-free protection with ZinClear™ and Titanium Dioxide to protect against UV damage. Perfect mineral sunscreen for those who prefer one. Does not leave a milky film on skin and sinks right into skin. No heavy, greasy feeling.

Some of my other favorite MyChelle products:

MyChelle Fruit Enzyme Cleanser

Fruit Enzyme Cleanser: A gentle cleanser for all skin types that removes dead skin cells and prepares skin for serums and moisturizers. Comes in two sizes: 2.1 oz. ($10.00) and 4.4 oz. ($18.00). Has multiple alpha-hydroxy acids and fruit enzymes to decongest skin of impurities. It also has Fructooligosaccharides (D-beta) (NutraFiora®) which is a pre-biotic from naturally occurring carbohydrates that promote healthy surface bacteria to protect the skin from harmful bacteria that cause acne. This cleanser is very gentle on the skin. It doesn’t have too many detergents in it that will cause the skin to feel stripped of lipids and doesn’t leave it feeling too dry.

pure harmony solare defense

Incredible Pumpkin Peel: an exfoliant for all skin types. It comes in a 1.2 oz. tube for $28.00. This peel exfoliates and deeply nourishes the skin with pumpkin pulp, enzymes and fermented juice. It is loaded with antioxidants. It clears up the pores and aids in detoxifying the skin all while rejuvenating the skin, leaving it soft, supple and smooth with a beautiful glow. Ginger root oil stimulates detoxification and micro-circulation, helps to heal acne, and provides anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. Two types of pumpkin work as an anti-oxidant and as an exfoliant to the skin, helps hydrate, aids in anti-bacterial properties and strengthens the skin cells.

Vitamin A Plus Serum

Vitamin A Plus Serum:  This serum, which comes in a 1 oz. bottle for $41.75, is a nice addition to my repertoire. It contains a refining form of Vitamin A and nourishing antioxidants that improve the texture and smoothness of rough, dull and blemished skin. Retinol and naturally-derived Vit-A-Like™ work together to resurface the skin, clearing pores and minimizing the appearance of fine lines. Argan oil, naturally high in Vitamin E and essential fatty acids, work to balance sebum production in the skin. Skin with blemishes, any texture issues or oily skin can get help with retinol. It is a great way to retexturize skin. Skin renewal and collagen synthesis is helped with Vitamin A and any of its derivatives. Argan oil, from Morocco, is one of the best ingredients for skin and hair. It has poly-unsaturated fats and natural tocopherols, thus it nourishes dry skin and protects the skin by restoring the skin’s natural protective barrier.

supreme polypeptide cream

Supreme Polypeptide Cream with Matrixyl® Synthe’6™: This cream comes in a 1.2 oz. jar for $56.00. It is one of the most nutrient-rich recontouring creams that I have used. It lifts and retexturizes skin for a more refined, youthful appearance. Matrixyl® synthe’6™ reduces wrinkle volume by 21% and wrinkle depth by 19% in 8 weeks. Proteasyl® TP Pea Peptide is clinically proven to improve skin’s elasticity, increasing overall firmness by 35% in just 6 weeks. Rice Peptides improve skin smoothness while Syn®-Coll Peptide triggers skin’s own reparative function to accelerate collagen production. This is a lot for isn’t it? Matrixyl® is well known for being a great anti-aging ingredient. It reduces the depth of wrinkles in clinical studies. The Pea Peptide extract is a new ingredient that will help build collagen production the skin. I used this product for a month. I don’t have any major wrinkles but I do notice that smoothness in my skin has been better due to the Rice Peptides. I do think that the collagen production has been increased somewhat by this product. I like it and will likely keep using it.

These are some of my favorite MyChelle products. I tried more than just these but I wanted to tell you about the ones I really think tend to stand out. Their products are very nice and from the viewpoint of an esthetician, I find them effective. I definitely saw results with the Vitamin A Plus Serum and Supreme Polypeptide Cream, which I used for over a month. The Sensitive Skin line is very good at providing relief for irritated, inflamed skin. In that line I love the Pure Harmony Mask, which I used after a chemical peel. Now, this is not its initial intent but if it provides relief to skin that is irritated from a peel, it will be great at skin that is inflamed from rosacea, sunburn or has a general sensitivity. I like that they have a whole product line dedicated to sensitive skin which is full of products, not just a couple of products. In reality, their site has products dedicated to 10 skincare concerns.

Even though the line is comprised of mostly natural ingredients, it is top notch and definitely on par with some of the best lines in the marketplace. The price point is comparable to most other skincare lines of this value, yet I think this line is of better value than most of the other lines because of the natural ingredients.

The website also offers a VISIA consultation, which is a scan to find out how old your skin really is. You get a consultation with an Esthetician such as myself and a before and after look at your skin to see if the products you use really work. The Esthetician scans your face at any VISIA location before you start using the MyChelle products and then discusses which products she/he thinks would be best for you. After a certain amount of time you come back and then and see how far your skin has come.
