Review: Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream #Yu-Be

Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin CreamYu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream was invented in 1957 by a Japanese pharmacist. This cream is the #1 selling medicated skin cream in Japan. It is a glycerin based cream that has Vitamin E (anti-oxidant), Vitamin B2 (smoothes skin) and camphor (the medicated part, very soothing to the skin). The high glycerin content (a humectant) helps attract moisture to the skin and lets it absorb into the skin, locking moisture into it. It also contains sodium hyaluronate (another humectant) to help attract moisture to the skin, hydrating it. This cream is formulated without any sulfates, synthetic fragrances, dyes, petrochemicals and phthalates. The formula is non greasy and the moisture stays locked in for hours.

A special manufacturing process makes the glycerin specially absorbable, making Yu-Be extremely Yu-Be Handseffective. This cream is great for rough skin, dry skin and cracked skin. Use it on elbows, hands, heels and feet. It softens calluses and helps to heal hard, cracked heels. It also helps to heal split cuticles. Burned skin is also helped with Yu-Be. It also helps minimize and heal scarred skin.

I have been using it on my cracked feet and cracked hands. I wash my hands up to 25 times a day because of health reasons. For that reason my hands have some minor cracks in them, even though I have been using the mildest soap I can find. So I use Yu-Be on the cracks, just a small amount. The camphor smell is a little strong at first but it dissipates after a short while. I find that I get better results if I apply it to wet skin. That helps hold in even more moisture. If skin is dry, then there is less moisture for the humectants to attract to the skin. Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream works very well at softening skin and healing it. Depending on how bad the cracks in the skin are, it might take up to a week or two for the cracks to heal. In the photo on the right you can see my hand, I used to have very bad cracks on the tips of my fingers and my cuticles are in better shape now (I have horrible nails I know, but those are a different story).

Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream comes in a 1 fl.oz./31mL tube for $16.00 and a 2.2 fl.oz./66 mL jar for $25.00. It comes in a body lotion now too. The website also offers different products such as foaming skin polish, lip balm and heel/elbow moisturizing socks.
