Review: Definitions Skincare #DefinitionsSkincare

(photos courtesy of www.definitionsskincare.com)

Being a blogger I get to try out a number of different skincare lines and products. I was definitely excited to try out the samples I received from the Definitions Skincare line. Here are the samples I was sent of this line to try out: Makeup Remover Cleansing Crème, Fruit Acid Cleansing Crème, Deep Cleansing Scrub Refiner and Eyes Age Reversal-Eyemask. Definitions is backed by scientific evidence and technology. Their mission is to improve the skin’s health by providing the latest advancements in skincare. The line uses top of the line ingredients in their skincare products and the products do deliver results.

Makeup Remover Cleansing Crème $39.00

Defintions Makeup Remover Cleansing Creme
Use the product as a first cleanse to remove makeup, dirt and debris. It also removes eye makeup. Use daily in the morning and evening. Apply a small amount to damp hands and work over face and décolleté. Follow with Fruit Acid Cleansing Crème to remove any leftover dirt and debris and to finalize cleansing process.
I think this cleanser is great at removing makeup. It works very well and is perfect for eye makeup too. This is a good “first” cleanser to be followed with the Fruit Acid Cleansing Crème. It melts away all makeup, dirt and debris and leaves skin ready for a second cleansing that is essential to have skin ready for serums and moisturizers.

Definitions Fruit Acid Cleansing Creme
Fruit Acid Cleansing Crème $39.00

This cleanser follows the Makeup Remover Cleansing Crème. Use with damp hands and apply to face and décolleté. Work over skin and rinse with warm water. It leaves skin feeling soft and supple. Readies skin for serums and moisturizers. This cleanser is a perfect “second” cleanser that will be good for helping to rid skin of dead skin cells, impurities, any dirt and debris left over from the Makeup Remover Cleansing Crème.

Deep Cleansing Scrub Refiner $39.00

Definitions Deep Cleansing Scrub Refiner
This is a deep cleansing gel with blended with essential oils (vanilla oil, orange peel, lemon peel, lavender, eucalyptus and jasmine) and soy ricebran microbeads that transforms into a rich, thick foamy lather to effectively exfoliate skin. It leaves skin feeling smooth, clean and free of dead skin cells that clog up pores. Use after cleansing face. Lightly massage into face and décolleté. Can be used 2x a week for all skin types. If skin is oilier or mature it can be used up to 3x a week. I love how this exfoliant lathers up and leaves skin feeling squeaky clean, soft and younger feeling. It is almost akin to a chemical peel.

Eyes Age Reversal-Eyemask $39.00

Definitions Eyes Age Reversal-Eyemask
These eye patches are great for providing a cooling, draining and lifting effect to reduce tired baggy eyes and dark circles. Apply to under eye bone. Leave on for 10-15 minutes and remove. Eyes will feel revived, lifted and hydrated. Dark circles will be decreased. Bags will be almost gone, as the masks decrease puffiness. These masks have the following ingredients in them to help your eyes. Glycerin, a humectant to hydrate eyes. Vitamin C to produce collagen and elastin and to improve tone and pigmentation. Peptides to improve fine lines and wrinkles. Vitamin K to improve dark circles. Chamomile, green tea and mulberry extracts to lighten pigmentation.  And hyaluronic acid is a humectant that increases moisture in the eye area. Use the eyemask before going out on a big date or big event to make eyes look their best.

I was very happy with the samples I tried out from this line. They did their job. I think the price point is good for these products too. I can definitely see myself using this line. Definitions Skincare is available at www.definitionsskincare.com. The line is also available in spas/salons and has professional treatments and products.
