I have reviewed a few products from this line now and I am loving all of them! The nyakio ABC African Beauty Cream in macadamia (light) is similar to a BB Cream. It is appropriate for all skin types. Use after cleansing the face and hydrating the skin. Apply the ABC African Beauty Cream as you would any foundation or BB Cream. It provides extra coverage, which is why I like it more than any other BB Cream. Blend all over the face to get long wearing coverage, sun protection and color correction! Skin ends up looking smooth, hydrated and more youthful looking than prior to application. It is also non-comedogenic, formulated without parabens and sulfates.The sunscreen ingredients are physical (titanium dioxide 5.0%, zinc oxide 5.0%). If you prefer a natural sunscreen, then this is a good product for you. The ABC African Beauty Cream contains the following good for you ingredients: senegalese baobab oil, peach leaf extract, ginkgo leaf extract and ginseng root extract. It comes in 5 shades: macadamia (light), honey (light medium), almond (medium), cinnamon (medium deep) and coffee (deep).
A 4-week consumer study was done. The study found that 100% said this product was long-wearing. Ninety-seven percent said it applied smoothly and evenly onto skin with natural looking coverage. Ninety-four percent said that it had a lightweight and non-greasy texture, that it improves the look of skin upon application, and that color does not oxidize throughout the day. Ninety-four percent said they would buy it and would recommend it to a friend. Ninety percent said it leaves skin perfectly smooth and makes skin feel immediately softer. And 90% said they like the texture of the the ABC African Beauty Cream.
I like this version of a BB Cream. It has extremely good coverage. Not only that but the lightest color, macadamia (light), is a great color match for my skin tone. It also has an SPF 20, with natural sunscreen in it. It is long-wearing, lasting the entire day. I agree that it goes on very smoothly and that the color does not oxidize, meaning that it does not turn orange on the skin. I think that this product is one of the better BB Cream-products on the market today.
