Review: Maybelline Master Prime by Face Studio and Master Conceal by Face Studio #Maybelline #conceal #primer #MasterPrime #MasterConceal

Maybelline Master Prime and Master Conceal by Face Studio
Maybelline just came out with a new foundation primer and a concealer that are quite good. I am a huge fan of Maybelline cosmetics, for a drugstore brand it has very good choices. The products that they put out are on par with department store items. I am especially a fan of the Color Sensational lipsticks and Eye Studio eye shadow quad palettes.

The primer, called Master Prime by Face Studio, comes in three types. I purchased the (200) Blur+ Illuminate type. It blurs fine lines and wrinkles and illuminates skin with light reflecting particles, leaving skin glowing. It also comes in one other type that helps with redness and one other that at the moment I cannot remember! I like how this one gives skin a beautifully soft glow, nothing too outlandish. Skin ends up looking ethereal. It is definitely a nice product and I recommend this for those who love to have glowing skin (I love to look like this every day). I also recommend mixing this with foundation for an even better result. That way it does not get covered with foundation and skin ends up looking even more lovely. Even better, the primer has an SPF 30 with octinoxate 7.5%. Yes, I know it is not a natural sunscreen but most people can handle this one. If you cannot, then this product would not be for you. I like that this has a sunscreen in it. Any time that you can add an anti-aging sunscreen to a product, it is a good thing!

The concealer, called Master Conceal by Face Studio (10 Fair), is a very pigmented concealer that is an excellent example of how a good concealer should work. With this concealer you only need a small amount to get great coverage. And I mean a very small amount! It is extremely pigmented. It comes in several shades, I use 10 Fair. This shade has some yellow to it and when used under my eye does indeed cover dark circles very well. I also use it on my face to cover some redness and have found that there it also covers well. Normally with redness you would use something with some green in it to counteract the redness, and then cover with a concealer. With this one there is no need to do that. I’m so happy with this concealer and I think it does a great job.

Above, you can see how there are no dark circles or any redness after using Master Conceal. Also, skin looks “brighter” with use of Master Prime Blur + Illuminate. There is a soft glow to my skin. The results are exemplary.
Maybelline Master Prime by Face Studio retails for $9.49 and Master Conceal by Face Studio retails for $4.40. I purchased them at Walgreens. Maybelline is available at mass market retailers nationwide. 1. Great post. I am thinking about going and doing a little retail therapy today and I need some nice drugstore products. I am so sick of low quality stuff and I was even thinking about buying high-end products but I just cannot bring myself to spending the money.
