Laura Mercier wanted to provide her clients with a foundation that would give their skin a flawless and photo-ready canvas. She created a foundation that offered the ultimate skin smoothing and softening properties. Silk can take many forms in fabric and can be beneficial in makeup formulas. Silk Crème Photo Edition Foundation offers this with the following benefits: it is a makeup based performance foundation; it is long wearing and provides up to 12 hours of wear; the foundation feels comfortable on the skin; it has a photo ready finish that is ideal for photography, video and special events. 
 
The highly pigmented foundation comes two formulas, Oil-Free and Moisturizing and in 12 shades: Rose Ivory, Cream Ivory, Ivory, Ecru, Bamboo Beige, Beige Ivory, Medium Ivory, Cashew Beige, Sand Beige, Suntan, Pecan, Truffle.
The Oil-Free formula has a natural matte finish. It is perfect for normal to oily skins, including those with sensitive skins. It visibly evens skin tones and retexturizes skin to smooth it out, creating a flawless canvas for makeup. It is full coverage, with a highly pigmented formula. Color true pigments disappear in the skin, helping it to apply evenly and smoothly into the skin. The formula contains silk powder and black tea extract and Vitamins A & E for anti-oxidant protection. To apply: shake well and apply to sponge then onto skin for a flawless natural matte finish.
 
The moisturizing formula has a luminous finish and melts seamlessly onto skin, hiding hard-to-cover imperfections. It is for normal to dry skin. This formula is also long-wearing, it increases skin’s luminosity and radiance. It visibly evens skin tone and blends seamlessly into skin. Skin is retexturized to create a flawless canvas. A pearlescent pigment scatters light and luminizes the skin. The moisturizing formula is full coverage and highly pigmented. It has color true pigments that disappear into the skin and applies evenly. The formula hydrates and protects skin from dryness. It is lightweight and comfortable on the skin. It contains silk protein fiber, tea extract (white, green and honeybush) and a moisturizing complex (shea butter, sodium hyaluronate and glycerin). To use: shake well and apply with a sponge. Blend gently into skin for a flawless luminous finish.
