I have four fused vertebrae in my back. So, when I need to get my shoes on, it is very difficult for me at this point (and for the rest of my life) to actually bend over to get them on. I just recently had a vertebral fusion surgery (L2-L5) and then a surgery to fix a fracture and a problem where one of the cages popped out of place. I am in a position where I cannot bend over for 3 months to 6 months. I need things to help me so that I don’t bend over. This shoe horn is perfect. I cannot bend over at all. This is a great tool for me because I cannot bend over to put on my shoes I have to sit on the stairs and then use the shoe horn to put my shoes on. This is also a good idea for seniors, any one with back pain who cannot bend over or anyone who has issues getting their shoes on. Also great for diabetics.
