Dove introduces a new antiperspirant and deodorant: NEW Advanced Care Antiperspirant Deodorant. It comes in thirteen scents and I tried three of them: Original Clean, Clear Tone and Powder Soft. The product features a light, clean, classic fragrance and NutriumMoisture that helps skin replenish itself from shaving irritation. This means that unlike other antiperspirants/deodorants, you can use it the same day as you shave your underarms. It also delivers 48-hour odor and wetness protection for the best care that they have ever offered.
What is so great about this antiperspirant/deodorant is the NutriumMoisture. This is a breakthrough. It allows underarm skin to be moisturized without any skin irritation from shaving, which let’s face it, was a huge problem. After shaving we usually had to wait hours or a full day to apply antiperspirant/deodorant because we wanted to avoid shaving irritation. Well now this is a thing of the past. NutriumMoisture allows skin to replenish the moisture lost during the shaving process and it protects skin so that it does not get irritated. LOVE this! The active ingredient in this product is Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex GLY 15.2%. This is the antiperspirant protection ingredient that keeps you dry. It lasts for up to 48 hours, so theoretically you can skip a day and still have protection with the product working at full capacity.
I tried all three scents and my favorite by far is the Clear Tone scent. But all three are great scents. The entire new line of antiperspirants/deodorants are great. I like anything that works for 48 hours and allows me to skip a day if needed. And I LOVE that I can use this right after shaving.
