Colorescience Protection Today Perfection Tomorrow Gift Set
Colorescience is known for its products that help protect the complexion against sun damage. They have sunscreen treatment built into their products. For the holidays they have a cute gift set of their best selling Even Up™ Clinical Pigment Perfector SPF 50 and a mini size of their Sunforgettable™ Sunscreen Mini Brush SPF 50. It is called the Even Up + Sunforgettable® Sunscreen Mini Brush Gift Set. Brighten, correct, and protect with the Even Up Gift Set for healthier looking skin all season long. The set is a great gift idea because you get two of their best selling products in one. Get Even Up™ and a Sunforgettable™ Sunscreen Mini Brush for the price of Even Up™ alone!

Even Up™ Clinical Pigment Perfector SPF 50 is a 3-in-1 skin perfector. This patent pending formula instantly evens skin tone and provides SPF 50 skin protection with a highly effective skin brightening complex. It has LUMIRA™, to address skin discolorations. LUMIRA™, is a clinically tested, highly effective complex that addresses the appearance of skin discolorations. Brighten, correct and protect with one product. It has been clinically shown to reduce the appearance of skin discolorations. It immediately diffuses the appearance of discolorations. The mineral broad spectrum SPF 50 sunscreen protects skin from the sun, it has titanium dioxide 11.6% and zinc oxide 8.6%.
To use, apply liberally to a moisturized face. Make sure to have an even application, that there is good coverage. This will be the first step in your makeup routine. Apply 15 minutes before sun exposure. Avoid contact with eyes. If any adverse reaction occurs, stop using this product. If the condition persists, consult a physician.

Also in the set is a mini size of their wonderful Sunforgettable Mineral Sunscreen Brush SPF 50. It contains mineral sunscreen agents, the more preferred type of sunscreen. Why? Because mineral sunscreens deflect the sun’s rays away from the skin whereas chemical sunscreens absorb them into the skin. Chemical sunscreens need to be applied 20-30 minutes prior to going outside in order to work. They last only up to 90 minutes. Mineral sunscreen agents (also called physical sunscreens), zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, work immediately. They are now micronized so that they do not leave a white film on the skin anymore (like they used to, which was the major drawback of wearing physical sunscreens such as these). Mineral sunscreen agents are often highly recommended by doctors because chemical sunscreens can cause allergic reactions in many people. They have also been linked to cancer. Mineral sunscreens work to deflect both UVA and UVB rays.

Sunforgettable Mineral Sunscreen Brush SPF 50 is a water resistant, broad spectrum sunscreen that comes in a brush form. It makes protecting the skin easy. This brush is portable, easy to apply and easy to reapply. It offers powerful SPF 50 sun protection from UVA/UVB rays and is sheer, natural  looking coverage. It comes in four shades: Fair, Medium, Tan and Deep. It provides light coverage to smooth imperfections. It is easy to reapply over makeup for touch ups. This product is safe and non-irritating. It is water resistant up to 80 minutes. The SPF 50 comes from Zinc Oxide 24.1% and Titanium Dioxide 23.9%. Iron oxides provide color and calcified red algae guards against environmental stressors.

To use, remove rubber band and prime brush in circular motion on top of hand until minerals begin to flow. Then sweep brush over entire face and neck in circular motions to release powder. Apply liberally and evenly before sun exposure, reapply every two hours throughout the day for continued water resistant protection. Can be used on head, face, neck, chest and back of hands. For best performance, clean brush as needed by moistening a clean towel with Colorescience brush cleaner and sweeping with brush bristles facing up.

This set is a great gift idea for those who are skincare/makeup junkies. Or for those who are light complected and need sunscreen all the time, such as myself. I also think it is a great idea for those of us who suffer from hyperpigmentation problems. I love the Even Up™ Clinical Pigment Perfector SPF 50. Using this prior to makeup really helps to even out the skin tone. It can even be used instead of foundation! How awesome is that!!!!! And then I use the Sunforgettable™ Sunscreen Mini Brush SPF 50 on my skin and I am completely protected for the day against any of the sun’s rays. Not that I really go out in the sun much but I do take medication that can cause light sensitivity and my complexion is extremely fair. I avoid the sun like the plague. I prefer not to be in the sun if I can avoid it at all costs. I take good care of my skin and these products are perfect examples of products that can help me avoid the sun’s rays. I think this is a great gift set.
