PÜRTM recently sent me a great brow product to try out, Browder Perfecting Brow Powder. When I received it I was very excited because I am always in the hunt for a great brow product. I have over tweezed brows from that resulted from severely zealous tweezing them when I was a teenager. Also, I color my hair red and my brows are naturally blonde, thus I need to darken them every day. I do not color my brows with hair color. So it is a battle to get my brows to look semi-decent every single day. Some days I win the battle, others I do not.
Bold brows are in right now. With PÜR’s long-lasting brow powder you do not need to be a makeup artist to get perfectly defined brows. PÜR’s Browder Perfecting Brow Powder is a unique fiber formula that adds naturally bold definition to sparse and uneven brows for a look that is always natural, never “drawn on”. Just exactly what I needed!!!!! Use the innovative flocked applicator to groom and sculpt for the perfect arch or use an eyeliner brush to double duty use as a smoky eye lining powder! It comes in three shades: Blonde, Medium Brown and Brunette. I think for me, with my red hair, the Brunette works best, as it has some red to it. Although I also tried a mix of the Medium Brown and the Brunette and it worked nicely too.
To Use: Brush brow hair upward and outward with a brow groomer, such as PÜR’s Wake Up Brow. Apply Browder directly onto brows with the built-in precision applicator. With light, feathery upward strokes, fill in gaps to add natural fullness and shape to the brows. It can also be applied to the lash line with an eyeliner brush to create a soft, smoky eye. Use some Disappearing Ink under the eye and a coat of Volume Vixen to brighten the eyes for a total PÜRTM effect.
I have been wearing this product now for a few weeks and I can say a few tings about it. First, Browder is very easy to use. Just open the tube, take the applicator out and start filling in the gaps in your brows with it. As directed, move upward and outward with light, feathery strokes. The fibrous powder will fill in where there is no hair and it will look fairly natural. The Browder will not look too artificial. It also adds nice shape to the brows so that they have a nice arch to them. I also tried it as an eyeliner on my upper lid and it was very easy to accomplish this. With a thin eyeliner brush, apply a small amount of the powder to the upper lash line in small strokes. This creates a very natural looking eyeliner to open up the eye and make it look larger. For this I used the darkest shade, Brunette. I thought that it would look best with my blue-green eyes.
