The Nonie Crème Colour Prevails Watercolour Eye Shadow Palettes contain color coordinated eye shadows that you will want to wear again and again. There are three original eye shadow palettes and for the holidays a special eye shadow palette in Social Butterfly was released. I was able to try out the special palette in Social Butterfly. I want to report on the quality, wearability and general overall likability of these eye shadows.

The original three palettes come in 8-10 matte and satin finishes with shadows that blendable, layerable and ultra-wearable. They can be worn wet or dry for subtle or dramatic looks. One palette is called Marvelous Mattes, it centers around blues and purples.

Social Butterfly, (shown above) on the other hand, centers around bronzes coppers. All of the shadows in this palette are shimmer shades. It is a gorgeous palette, a lot of warm shades but I think that if you can wear neutrals you can pull it off too. All of the shades are fairly interchangeable and so many looks can be created. The shades in the palette are as follows: Bubbly (shimmery creamy champagne), Belle (shimmery light copper), Tipsy (shimmery light gold), Gala (shimmery light bronze gold), Kissable (shimmery golden copper), Afterparty (shimmery taupe), Soiree (shimmery bronze) and Ball Gown (shimmery reddish bronze). The palette also comes with a brush for application.

My favorite shades are Belle, Kissable and Ball Gown. These shadows have great pigment, are very blendable, have little to no fallout and they wear very well when used with a primer. I always use an eye shadow primer so I can always say that my eye shadows last the day. What I really like about these shadows are the colors, how vivid they are for coppers and bronzes. The shadows are bright and gorgeous. The shadows are not particularly creamy per se, but that is okay. They still get the job done.

Below you can see a couple of looks I did with this palette. Here I am going to show you two looks. The first is a light look and the second is more intense. I was very happy with these looks. They were fun and easy to create. I used a black liquid liner with both of them and black mascara. Then I used a pinkish blush and a pinkish nude lipstick to finish the look.

Look 1: Soiree in the crease with Afterparty below that to deepen the crease a little. Afterparty on the outer edge of the upper lid and lining the lower lid. Tipsy on the upper lid and Bubbly under the brow.

Look 2: Kissable in the crease with Ball Gown below that to deepen the crease and then on the outer edge of the upper lid and lining the lower lid. Belle on the upper lid with Tipsy below the brow.

The Nonie Crème Colour Prevails Watercolour Eye Shadow Palette in Social Butterfly retails for $19.00 and can be found online at www.walgreens.com or in Walgreens stores.
