L'Oréal's Newest Cosmetics for Spring

Bear with me for the next few days. My computer broke and I am writing my blog on my phone. I'm going to see if I can get a different computer to write it on, with the same software, but we shall see how that goes.

This spring (well really right after the holidays, but that's spring in the cosmetic world), L'Oréal introduced a number of new cosmetic products. They introduced new single eyeshadows, a new eyeliner, a new contour palette and a new matte lipgloss. There were more products of course, but these are the ones that I was able to try out.

Colour Riche Eyeshadows $5.99

These come in 15 shades and are single eye shadows. I tried four shades: Petite Perle (shimmery white), Little Beige ( shimmery beige), Meet Me In Paris (satin gunmetal) and Grand Bleu (satin navy). These shadows are pigmented, go on smoothly, have little to no fallout and wear very well. My only concern is that the colors all seemed very muted or kind of toned down. I wanted some more splashier colors. The market I think they are aiming at is the 40 and older one.

Infallible Matte-Matic Eyeliner $8.99

This matte eyeliner comes in four shades: flat reflecting black, brown, navy matte and charcoal. It glides across the skin to give your eyes definition, in a gel-cream formula. It has an intense matte formula. This formula is waterproof, smudge proof and wears for up to 24 hours. The gel-cream formula makes the pencil glide on for an easy application that allows for a good wear, an all around good experience with the product. I am
Very happy with this liner.

Infallible Pro-Contour Palette $12.99

I was so excited to try this out. I got medium, where I would normally use the light but that's okay, it worked out okay for me. It comes in Light, Medium and Deep shades. The brush that comes with it is contoured so that you could use I if you really needed to, however I recommend using a professional contouring brush. I contour my cheeks, nose and the sides of my forehead. I also might do a little jawline too sometimes. I really like this little set, it's easy to use, the contouring powder is not too dark and the highlighting powder is light enough that you can get a good highlight but not too light that it looks unnatural. I would definitely recommend this.

Infallible Pro MATTE Gloss $9.99

It seems like an oxymoron, right? Matte Gloss? Well, there is such a thing. It goes on smoothly, stays on the lips all day long and has high impact color with a velvet soft finish. It comes in 10 shades. I tried Bare Attraction, the shade you see above, which is close to being nude but is more of a light pinky-coral shade. The other shades are a mix of nudes, brights and deep shades. This is a great product if you are looking for something matte, that lasts all day long but with a hint of a glossy feel.
