I am still without my computer, so this blogpost comes to you from my iPhone 5 via the BlogPress App.

Garnier has introduced a revamped and reintroduced a whole new skincare line. SkinActive was designed to help skin that is affected by stress, pollution, the environment, fatigue and UV rays. All of these things take their toll on the skin. They can cause dryness, dullness, signs of aging and signs of fatigue. SkinActive was designed to be highly effective and efficient. All of the products, from the cleansers to the treatment products, are better and they are customized by skin type.

I was able to try a few products from the line. I'm very happy with what I have tried so far. I love the Micellar cleansers, gel cleansers, cleanser/mask, etc.

Today I am going to discuss the SkinActive Moisture Rescue Actively Hydrating Daily Lotion. It comes with an SPF 15. And it comes in two forms, regular and Fragrance-Free. I tried both. Moisture Rescue Actively Hydrating Daily Lotion is a daily moisturizer for all skin types, even sensitive skins. Over time our active lifestyles and environmental factors cause damage to the natural protective barrier of the skin. This moisturizer instantly adds moisture to dry skin and locks it in for 24 hours. It has antioxidant fruit water and an oil-free, lightweight formula that will help defend the skin against external aggressors such as UV rays, daily stress and pollution (all of which age the skin). It has a SPF 15 from Avobenzone 3%, Octisalate 5% and Octocrylene 5%. These are chemical sunscreens, so if you are sensitive to chemical sunscreens then this product is not right for you.

The noncomedogenic formula also contains glycerin to help keep the skin actively hydrated throughout the day. It also helps to protect the skin against moisture loss. It also contains antioxidants Vitamins C and E, which have been known to help the skin fight off free radicals. After one use skin feels fresh, softer and smoother. After one week of use, skin feels strengthened, looks healthier, and has an overall improved appearance. The success of this product on the skin keeps improving with continued use. For best results, use after cleansing. Apply to face and neck. Follow with makeup.

The Fragrance-Free version is exactly the same as the regular version, it just does not contain any extra fragrance that people sensitive to fragrances cannot handle. Otherwise, the formula is just the same.

I really like this moisturizer. As soon as you put it on, it sinks right into the skin. It's not greasy at all and my skin feels hydrated all day long, which is exactly what I want and is what Garnier promises. I'm very happy with this product and I could see myself buying this in the future. Yes, I like it that much.

Garnier SkinActive Moisture Rescue Actively Hydrating Daily Lotion retails for $12.99. It can be found at mass market retailers nationwide such as Walgreens, Rite-Aid, CVS, Target and Wal-Mart.
