Colorescience's Skin Mattifying Face Primer SPF 20 has an oil absorbing formula that controls shine, blurs imperfections, and reduces the appearance of pores to help  create a soft-focus, matte finish on the skin for makeup. It helps control oil and shine, it comes in a universal nude shade that minimizes the appearance of blemishes, the primer instantly evens out skin tone and blurs the look of pores. SPF 20 provides broad spectrum sun protection. The sunscreens are zinc oxide 5.3% and titanium dioxide 2.8%. The primer preps skin for makeup application and all-day wear.

To help prevent new blemishes the primer contains salicylic acid, which not only prevents blemishes but helps to improve the look and feel of acne-prone skin.Oaot Beta Glucan soothes and minimizes the appearance of redness, so irritation is decreased. Hydrolyzed Rice Protein is a plant-derived peptide that helps support the foundation of the skin while soothing and hydrating it. The lightweight mineral formula allows for breathable layering without exacerbating acne-prone skin.

To use: 

1. Apply one pump to fingertips and massage to warm primer. 
2. Evenly distribute product over entire face, ensuring even coverage.
3. Apply primer after moisturizer and before foundation. 

I love this primer. It does take a little bit of getting used to at first. The primer comes out very thick and you do need to warm it up between hands. You do not need much of it though, as a little goes a long way. This product was voted an In Style Magazine 2014 Beauty Best Buy. 

Tint Du Soleil SPF 30 UV Protective Foundation 1fl.oz./30mL $54.00 

Colorescience Tint du Soleil SPF 30 UV Protective Foundation is a sheer cream with all-physical sun protection SPF 30. The sun proctetion is mineral based, titanium dioxide 4.8% and zinc oxide 6.7%. That makes is good for those who cannot wear chemical sunscreens. The anti-oxidant rich formula protects skin and give sheer foundation coverage, while providing nourishing vitamins to improve the overall health of skin. The sun care part of the foundation is a powerful, mineral-based UVA/UVB broad spectrum SPF 30 sun protection. The foundation is supercharged with skincare ingredients that keep skin hydrated and with a luminous, fresh complexion.The creamy, sheer texture blends naturally into your skin for a flawless, healthy glow.

This foundation contains peptides, a 2-peptide combination that helps improves the appearance of the skin tone. It also has a multi-vitamin complex, a blend of nourishing vitamins that help minimize the appearance  of fine lines and wrinkles. Ceramide and milk lipids keep skin hydrated and luminous. 

To use: 

1. Apply two pumps to fingertips. 
2. Blend onto the face for sheer to medium coverage before sun exposure and as needed. 
3. For fuller coverage, additional pumps may be necessary
4. Use Sunforgettable mineral sunscreen for all-day touch ups and continued sun protection
5. Use Colorescience Loose or pressed Mineral Foundation for a fuller coverage foundations. 

 I am very happy with this foundation. it has great coverage, sheer to medium if you want or even medium to full if you need it. The coverage is buildable. I like that it has such great SPF coverage and that it is mineral based. The foundation goes on and blends like a dream. It is definitely a must have product.  

Pressed Mineral Illuminator/Diffuser in Champagne Kiss $50.00

I adore this illuminator. It goes on light enough that it gives a glow but not too heavy that you look like you are wearing too much. it gives the perfect amount of glow to the face. This makeup artist favorite effortlessly diffuses imperfections while providing subtle illumination for the look of healthy, beautiful skin. This lightweight essential will end up becoming a daily stable in your beauty routine. It evens out skint tone to minimize appearance of pigmentation. Add subtle luminosity to eyes, cheeks or nose. Use on the face, eyes or décolleté. It helps fight off free radical damage. The illuminator is rich in pearl powder, which is rich in amino acids and minerals to help skin appear radiant and smooth. These are the shade descriptions for the shadows in the palette:

These items are all lovely items that can be worn for summer. My favorite is the Pressed Mineral Illuminator/Diffuser in Chamapgne Kiss. It is gorgeous on. Makes skin have the most beautiful light, ethereal glow. This is a must have product.All of the others  are great products too. Colorescience is a great line. Wonderful mineral makeup line!
