The Surya Brasil Amazonia Preciosa Clay Mask is 100% vegan, natural and organic. It is a clay facial mask that is certified by EcoCert® and is a purifying and firming treatment for combination and oily skin. It nourishes the skin by removing the dead skin cells and extracting the extraneous oils and impurities from the surface of the skin. It also moisturizes and hydrates the skin with the oils that are in the clay.
To use, mix one to two tablespoons of the clay with water and apply to skin for 20-30 minutes. Remove with a washcloth and fresh, warm water. Apply Amazonia Preciosa Facial Toner and Moisturizer to complete the facial experience.
What I liked about this mask was how soft it left my skin. My skin was toned and moisturized, exfoliated and definitely felt like it had been given a good facial. This is a great mask. The clay mixes with water easily. Make sure to start with a little bit of water and add little by little until you have the consistency desired. It's better this way than adding a lot of water and having to add more clay.
This mask contains many different kinds of clays and botanical extracts. It contains white kaolin, pink kaolin, acerola fruit extract, essential oils of juniper, lavender, thyme, tea tree, clove, and preciosa. The essential oils are encapsulated into the clays so that they can be dried out yet still function when reconstituted.
I think those with oily and combination skin would love this mask. It is definitely not for those with drier skins or mature skin. The ingredients in it are more for oilier skins or for those with acne.
