Review: derma e skincare #dermaeskincare

I received a few products from Derma E to try out. Let me say that I was very happy with them. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked these products. I found some new favorites, some products I am adding to my regimen. Below is a review of the products I receive, just a brief nod to let you know what each product does, what its benefits are and what I liked about it. 

Makeup Remover 4 fl.oz./118mL $12.75 

Safely remove regular and waterproof makeup with this gentle, fragrance-free, oil free makeup remover. It effectively sweeps away waterproof mascara, longwear eyeliner, transferproof lipstick and long-lasting face makeup. Chamomile and Cucumber extracts help to soothe, tighten and refresh. Eyebright extraxt shields skin from any irritation. Bilberry extract helps promote healthy looking skin. Green Tea delivers vital anti-oxidants. This makeup remover is suitable for all skin types and is good for those who wear contact lenses. It is 100% vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, mineral oil-free, lanolin-free, gluten free and GMO-free. 

I found this cleanser to be very effective at removing all sorts of makeup. I used it to remove waterproof eye makeup, 24 HR foundation and long-lasting lipstick. It worked like a charm for all of them, leaving no traces of makeup behind, my skin feeling clean. I still wanted to use a cleanser just to cleanse my skin so that I could avoid any acne lesions. I highly recommend this if you need a good makeup remover. 

Purifying Gel Cleanser 6 fl.oz./175mL $15.50 

Use this cleanser after the remover. Lather away sweat, oil and toxin buildup for a clean, refreshed, glowing complexion with this refreshing detox cleanser. Developed by a physician and clinically tested, this fragrance-free, sulfate-free and pH balanced formula contains some of the most powerful minerals and natural toxin fighters from the earth and from the sea.  Kimarine® Wakame is a potassium-rich, magnesium-rich seaweed that is clinically proven to protect skin against environmental pollutants (exhaust fumes, cigarette smoke, heavy metals). This cleanser is perfect if your skin is breaking out, is oily, combination, acneic or like mentioned, urban. If you have toxins and need some refreshment, this cleanser will give you that. I love how it makes my skin feel. My skin ends up feeling clean. Just clean. And refreshed. Glowing. Like new, pink, baby skin. It definitely works. This is a special cleanser that you might not need daily, but when you need it, it pulls out all the stops and does a great job. 

Microdermabrasion Scrub 2oz./56 g $32.50 

This scrub immediately improves the appearance of skin by using the salon-perfect formula that includes an exclusive crystal blend of Dad Sea Salt and Volcanic Sand (rich in Silica). It buffs away dull surface cells, helps to diminish the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars and absorbs excess skin oils. Enriched with natural astrigents like Lime and Lemon peel plus anti-oxidants Grapeseed and Vitamin E, this pro-grade treatment retexturizes skin, laving it soft, smooth and younger looking. This product may also be used on your hands, elbows, knees or heels . Really, it can be used on any part of the body to promote soft, smooth and healthy skin. It is ideal if you are looking for immediate results from a salon-perfect treatment in the privacy of your own home. Please Note: The crystal blend used in this product has a large molecular structure and is therefore not bio-available to the body, so there is no possibility of absorption through the skin. When your skin is down in the dumps, use this. it will bring that glow right back. It is very similar to a microdermabrasion treatment you get in a salon except without the bleeding. You can scrub away the rough dry skin or smooth out some acne scars. This product is best for dry, combination, mature skins. Not for acneic skins or skins with active pustules. Use up to 2x a week on the dryest skins. 

Purifying 2-in-1 Charcoal Mask 1.7 oz./48 g $19.50

This mask deeply detoxifies the skin of harmful micropolutants in 2 ways. First, it has natuarl clays that are infused with Kimarine® Wakame, Bladderwrack and Activated Charcoal to  lift out dirt, oil and bacteria and to decongest pores as the mask dries. Second, Apricot Seed Powder exfoliates away dead skin cells and captured debris during removal. Kaolin and Bentonite Clays absorb excess oils and impurities, relieving skin congestion and allowing skin to be free of impurities. Kimarine® Wakame is a potassium-rich, magnesium-rich seaweed that is clinically proven to protect skin against environmental pollutants (exhaust fumes, cigarette smoke, heavy metals). Bladderwrack is an antioxidant-rich, mineral-rich seaweed known for its water-binding properties, supporting healthy skin hydration and nourishment. Activated Charcoal is known for absorbing 100 to 200 times its weight in impurities, it purges pores of deeply rooted toxins, and then Apricot Seed Powder gently exfoliates away micropollutants. This mask is ideal for oily, active or urban skin types (where there is a lot of pollution). It is even safe for reactive skin (minimal ingredients and allergy-tested. Use this formula once or twice a week for skin that looks dramatically fresher, healthier and purely glowing. Skin that is dry need not use this very often, if at all.

This mask is great when you need to get rid of grime, debris and pollution from the skin. It does what it says it will do, it actually takes way the impurities from the skin, making if feel refreshed and glowing. I used this mask one a week or every couple of weeks, depending on how my skin feels. 

Overnight Peel 2 fl.oz./60mL $18.75

With this product, you can have dramatically fresher, newer skin overnight.  It will also be brighter and have less lines and wrinkles. The blend of glycolic acid (from sugar cane) and fruit acids is a great skin-renewing formula. It contains 5% Alpha Hydroxy Acid for safe effective removal of dead surface skin cells.Every time you use it skin tone becomes more radiant, hyperpigmentation is evened out and age spots are visibly diminished. It is also 100% vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, mineral oil-free, lanolin-free, gluten free and GMO-free.

This is my favorite derma e product.  It works incredibly well. For a product with only 5% AHA, it acts like something with a higher AHA. It must be the pH level of f the product, which is more acidic. It is loaded with fruit acids and lactic acid. When you wake up your skin looks glowing but after maybe a day or two it might peel some. Mine did and I am used to peels. It peeled a lot. But that means it is working.

Purifying Youth Serum 1 fl.oz./30mL $29.50 

  Skin can be shielded against environmental and age damage, and revitalize a dull appearance with this concentrated, mineral-rich treatment formula. It protects and revives skin for a healthy, glowing, more youthful looking complexion. The serum is  100% vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, mineral oil-free, lanolin-free, gluten free and GMO-free. 

This is a great serum. It makes skin feel soft, supple and helps keep it looking younger. Wear daily underneath makeup or at night. Either way, use as an anti-aging serum, in addition to some of your other anti-aging serums. 

Firming DMAE Eye Lift 1/2 oz./14g $24.95

 

This cream will visibly lift, firm and tighten the delicate eye area while smoothing crow's feet.  It is a physician developed, multi-action eye treatment cream that contains advanced, clinically proven natural ingredients. DMAE, a widely-acclaimed skin-firming nutrient, is clinically proven to boost collagen for firmer, more resilient skin. InstaLift® Goji Berry glycopeptides add further firming, lifting and tightening antioxidant power. This eye cream is a very good eye cream. It really does help with fine lines, small wrinkles, small bags and light dark circles. I have been very happy with its use and would continue to use it.
