Lavender Foaming Bath 16.9 fl.oz./500 mL $38.00

If you are a fan of lavender, then this is the treat for you. Reminiscent of the lavender fields of Provence, France, this Foaming Bath will transport you to another realm. Soak up the relaxing and aromatic scent of this bath and be transported to the blue fields of lavender in Provence. This rich, foaming bath, with its captivating lavender scent, lets your mind escape to Provence as you breathe in the fragrance and enjoy a soothing moment of relaxation. It leaves skin feeling supple and fragranced with the delicate scent of lavender.

To celebrate its 40th anniversary, L'OCCITANE is also celebrating Provence, the land of its birth, through a limited-edition collection based around its most famous flower. The packaging features a new design, inspired by fields of lavender seen from the sky, which trace diagonal lines across the plateaus of Haute-Provence, filling them with color. The brushed-aluminum bottle is inspired by the “estagnon” – a metal bottle that was used in the past in Provence to preserve fragrant essences.

Lavender is a symbol of Provence, an iconic flower whose aromatic scent has a relaxing effect and gives a feeling of well being. The essential oil used in this bath is PDO* lavender essential oil from Haute-Provence. This quality label is awarded to essential oils from Haute-Provence, distilled using traditional methods from fine lavender that grows at an altitude of over 800 meters, within a specific geographic area. L'OCCITANE is actively involved in helping to protect and preserve this fragile flower, which tells of the emblematic landscapes of Provence, which is so rich in color and history. Also known as "Blue Gold", lavender has a scent that evoke sheets dried in the sun or the warmth of the hot summer days. Its aromatic, authentic fragrance fills the bathroom. Also discover the L’OCCITANE PDO* Lavender Essential Oil from Haute-Provence for a non-foaming fragrant bath with relaxing properties.
(* Protection Designation of Origin)

Lavender was one of the first flowers distilled by Olivier Baussan, the founder of L'OCCITANE. Known in Provence as "Blue Gold", this plant is an aromatic tribute to the south of France. It is the fragrant soul of the region. The fruit of respectful labor. L'OCCITANE uses lavender that is sourced from farmers’ cooperatives in Haute-Provence. Their complete collection of Lavender products includes personal and home fragrances as well as bath and body care to offer moments of relaxation and well-being.

To use: pour 2 or 3 tablespoons into warm water and enjoy the relaxing moment. Lay back into the tub and relax for a few moments to enjoy the scent of the lavender. Relax and enjoy the ambience and the bath experience. Perhaps bring some candles and turn the lights off so as to make it an all around bathing experience that de-stresses you.

I love the Lavender Foaming Bath. The scent is strong but does not overpower you. It is so nice to have a bathing experience with this foaming bath. The lavender scent makes you feel relaxed, de-stressed and downright happy. You come out of the bath feeling like a better person. The bottle is huge and will last a long, long time.

L'OCCITANE'S Lavender Foaming Bath is available for $38.00 for a 16.9 fl.oz./500 mL bottle. It can be purchased online at www.loccitane.com or at any L'OCCITANE boutique.
