Michael Todd Beauty Grape Seed Cleansing Oil is a great cleanser for many skin types. It dissolves dirt, oil and makeup without stripping the skin of its natural moisture barrier. This cleanser is nourishing to the skin and is formulated with soothing Grape Seed Oil, moisturizing Organic Sunflower Oil, invigorating Organic Orange and Organic Lemongrass Oil. It contains one of the highest concentrations of fortifying Grape Seed Oil available. It hydrates and soothes with essential fatty acids, anti-oxidants, Vitamins C, E, D, A and Beta Carotene. It helps to restore the skin's barrier function for a more radiant complexion. Rinses completely clean without leaving a greasy residue.

A really great way to get rid of skin sebum and oil is by using another oil to cleanse the skin. This is known as Oil Cleansing Method ("OCM") and relies on the basic principal of chemistry that "like dissolves like" which in this case means "oil dissolves oil." We have been conditioned to think that we need to dry out our skin to treat oily or blemished skin. That is not true. When skin feels dry, it tries to overcompensate and repair itself for the lack of moisture by production additional oil. With this concentrated blend of oils you can cleanse your skin of dirt and bacteria naturally, gently and effectively, while replacing the dirty oil with beneficial  ones extracted from natural botanicals. Grape seed oil contains high quantities of Vitamin E and F and it also contains minerals like zinc potassium, copper, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron and selenium. But most of all grape seed oil is rich in proanthocyanidins (OPC) a compound that is high in antioxidants, which are 50 times more effective than Vitamin E and 20 times stronger than Vitamin C.

What are the benefits of Grape Seed Oil? First of all, it treats acne. Grape Seed Oil contains anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, both of which are great for stopping acne. The oil also contains linoleic acid, which is great for promoting skin health. It tightens the skin. Grape Seed Oil has astringent qualities that help tighten skin and close up the pores, thus helping you avoid clogging that leads to pimples. Oily skin can especially benefit from this. Also, it relieves dark circles from under the eye area. Dark circles are a problem for many. Grape Seed Oil, applied daily for a few weeks, can relieve the dark circles naturally without harsh chemicals found in many products. This very light oil works as an excellent moisturizer that won’t clog pores even in individuals with sensitive skin. The oil can also help hasten healing of problems, such as minor abrasions or pimples. Finally, it helps to fight aging of the skin. Fine lines and wrinkles can be reduced with a daily dose of Grape Seed Oil on the skin. The elasticity of the skin can be improved, thus making the lines of an aging face less pronounced.

To use: apply onto unwashed skin with dry hands. Begin massaging around face to dissolve dirt, oil and makeup. Remove with a damp washcloth or rinse with lukewarm water.

I am very happy with the cleanser. It does an excellent job of removing makeup, debris, dirt and oil from the skin. For this reason I would recommend it for almost any skin type, even sensitive. This cleanser works well for any skin type. And it actually works.  When it is rinsed off nothing is left behind but soft, velvety skin. That is one good cleanser.
