Recently I had the opportunity to try out the "Take A Deep Breath" line from philosophy.I want to give you a thorough review of the products I tried as well as my thoughts on the products.

take a deep breath eye 0.5 fl.oz./15 mL $42.00

Are your eyes dull? Do they need some pep? Bring back bright eyes with this lightweight, cooling eye gel cream featuring clean-air technology™ that refreshes and rejuvenates the look of tired eyes as it nourishes and protects delicate skin. Barley leaf extract helps to increase oxygen levels in skin to revitalize, as active caffeine and a blend of peptides smooth puffiness and improve the look of dark circles.  Does it work? 83% of women who used it saw a brighter, well-rested eye area, "like they got a good night's sleep".* (*based on results of a self-assessment study with 42 women ages 20-35 after 8 weeks, twice-daily use)

I certainly think it works. This is the kind of eye cream I need. I tend to suffer from dark circles and puffiness more than anything else. This does help them. It makes the under eye area look lighter and the puffiness does look less pronounced. The puffiness practically goes away on its own. I give this two thumbs up.

To use: apply a small amount to the fingertip and gently apply to the eye area (above and below) morning and night.

Does your skin need some new life? Is it tired, stressed? Well, breath new life into your tired, stressed skin with take a deep breath oil-free oxygenating moisturizer. It restores and refreshes a dull, dry complexion suffering from the effects of a busy lifestyle that can age skin. Made with exclusive
clean-air technology™, skin receives the oxygen delivery it needs to breathe freely , while a patented blend of anti-oxidants and anti-pollutants helps neutralize damaging free radicals. Skin is left feeling stronger and fresher, looking healthy and radiant. *80% of the women who used it felt skin could breathe freely and resist signs of a busy lifestyle. (*based on results of a self-assessment study with 45 women ages 20-35 after 8 weeks of twice daily use)

I tell you this. When I put this cream on, I could literally feel it working. My skin felt as if it was opening up and actually "breathing" air into it. It's hard to describe until you put it on and feel it for yourself. But it does do something to the skin. I've never felt anything like it before. It's slightly tingly but more like your skin is taking in air. It is very weird.  I love the feeling. I love using this cream. I will use this and nothing else, no other serums or anything else.Once you try it you will see what I am talking about.

philosophy's take a deep breath cushion color for cheeks is a cheek color designed to give life to your cheeks. Just a small dab will do, apply and instantly you have gorgeous color on your cheeks. It is like a breath of fresh air for your skin. This was created with clean-air technology, it has a breathable sheer color that instantly brightens the complexion and has an antibacterial bouncy mesh filter that ensure clean application every time. The reason it is so good for the skin is that the clean-air technology oxygenates the skin every time you use this product, making the skin better. More oxygen in the skin means that the skin's complexion gets brighter with each use.
Wearing Take A Deep Breath in 5.5
It comes in four shades: bright pink, coral, rosy bronze, and plum. I tried out rosy bronze. The color is buildable, from sheer to deep. It starts out light and can go very dark if needed. I liked the rosy bronze color but think the bright pink or coral color would more up my alley. The rosy bronze color would look good on someone with a medium skin tone or a darker skin tone. But, it did not look that bad on me! It gave me that kind of glow like I had just been out in the sun. I have a very light skin tone and the bright pink would compliment it much better. To use, gently press finger onto mesh filter; tap onto apples of cheeks, and blend upward toward hairline. The very first application will be a sheer wash of color. For more intense color, just apply more.

This product is a lightweight illuminator that leave skin looking naturally radiant, warmed with a hint of healthy-looking bronzed color. It is formulated with their exclusive clean-air technology™, the sheer liquid formula helps skin recover from the signs of a busy life that can age skin, as it brightens and highlights. Used all over, skin appears warmed and lit from within. Or sweep across the high plains of the face to achieve a sun-kissed effect.
Wearing Take a Deep Breath Sheer Liquid Sunshine
Out of all the take a a deep breath products, this one was my least favorite, as bronzing is harder for me to achieve. I mixed it in my foundation and tried that. it did work, giving me a nice glow to the skin. I also just tried using it all over my face but my skin ended up looking like I put highlighter all over my face. It has a beautiful golden color to it that will work well for most people, but does not go well with my skin tone. I do like that it helps recover from aging though, that is always a plus in my book.

I am very happy with all of the take a deep breath products. These are quite different than anything I am used to. philosophy has some winners here.
