Review: Vita Liberata Trystal Minerals #VitaLiberata #TrystalMinerals #selftanning

Recently I was given the opportunity to try Vita Liberata's newest product, Trystal Minerals. They are the world's first self-tanning bronzing minerals for the face. They offer bronzing mineral coverage and a subtle lasting tan. The unique formula interacts with your moisturizer or liquid foundation base to subtly tan the skin, allowing you to gradually build lasting color. They contain the regular DHA tanning agent and Odor Remove™ Technology for zero self-tan smell. They do not contain parabens, harsh chemicals, perfumes or fragrances, alcohol, any animal derivatives, petrochemicals, sulfates or silicones. They come in two shades, Sunkissed and Bronze. I had the Bronze.

How do you use Trystal Minerals? Easy! Swirl the Kabuki brush in the powder and tap on the edge of the pot to evenly distribute the minerals. Then apply over your moisturizer or liquid foundation. Then blend the powder onto the face, neck and décolleté in sweeping movements. Use more around the cheekbones to achieve a contouring effect or for a deeper tan result, apply more Trystals Minerals to the face. The subtle tan effect will last 3-7 days. Decide whether to reapply based on your face color after evening cleansing.

I took this product to Greece with me and used it. I am very pale naturally. Very. So in wearing this product I did not get too dark. I went with one application, so that I did not look out of place. My arms are full of freckles. Full of them. I am one large freckle. My face is full of them too. Normally I just cover them up with foundation. So I applied the Trystals Minerals over my foundation and waited. After a few hours I did have a darkening of my skin, just enough so that I looked a little bit darker but not enough that I would look too dark. What I love about this product is that it is so easy to use. Just apply over moisturizer or foundation and you have a tan. Tada!

Below is a photo of me wearing the Trystals Minerals, you can see some darkening of my skin, especially in the middle of my forehead:

I am very happy with the way the color turned out. It was just enough for me but not too much that I would be too dark. You can make it darker by adding on another application or two.
