Today I am going to review Studio Gear's Prime Objective Perfecting Face Primer. This primer is a silicone-based face primer that not only smooths the surface imperfections on the face for an incredibly bright complexion, but it also includes rejuvenating ingredients such as retinol and milk protein 20 that condition, balance and protect the skin from environmental stresses. Optical diffusers further enhance the complexion by lightening and brightening.

This is a very nice primer. It works well as priming the skin for foundation. You can wear it over a moisturizer or sunscreen or you can just wear it alone on plain skin. Personally, as an Esthetician, I would advise wearing over a sunscreen of at least a SPF 30 or higher. Because it is silicone based it glides right over the skin and helps fill in any imperfections such as fine lines and wrinkles. It allows for a smooth foundation base to be applied. Foundation just glides right over the primer, looking as smooth as possible. Then after you apply powder, which does not settle into any lines because of the primer, your face will look just about perfect.

The primer is clear but does lighten and brighten the complexion. With the addition of the retinol and milk protein, the primer has skin benefits too. It is more than just your regular face primer. Retinol helps to even out skin tone, reduces fine lines, reduce wrinkles, even out skin texture and reduce acne. The milk protein 20 helps keep skin from being bothered by the environmental stresses that can effect the skin.

A one time purchase of the Prime Objective Perfecting Face Primer is $30.00. If you subscribe you save 10% and the price drops to $27.00.
