Rest-Rite Sleep Positioner
Box of 7/$16.99
Do you have trouble sleeping? Can you not sleep on your back but still find yourself rolling over onto that position anyway? Are you pregnant and need to sleep on your side? Do you live with someone who snores on their back? Have you been injured and cannot sleep on your back? I have the answer for you.
Enter the Rest-Rite Sleep Positioner. It is a cup that attaches to your back with tape and can either attach to your pajamas or your skin. It keeps you from rolling over onto your back and keeps you laying on to your side position. I tried it out and it works really well.
It comes in packs of 7, 14 or 28. The packs of 7 are $16.99. The packs of 14 are $27.99 and the packs of 28 are $52.00. There are also cute gift packs for maternity gifts that come in a pink box but still have the blue spotter. Those are packs of 7. Each can only be used one time. It would make sense to get the most bang for your buck then and try to get as many positioners as you can afford after trying them out, if they work for you.
What is so great about these is that they are drug free, convenient, effective, helps promote side sleeping during pregnancy (increasing the amount of nutrients getting to the placenta and the baby), they help open they airways for quieter side sleep, they reduce acid reflux and heartburn symptoms and they help keep the body on the side instead of the back in cases of injury (place one on the best place to allow your body to heal and subconsciously adjust to a new sleep position and stay away from the inured body part). These can be positioned anywhere on the back that it is most comfortable. They are made with medical grade adhesive, so they stay put and don't come off easily. They provide instant relief and are discreet, easy to use for travel and comfortable.
I found them to be very effective and I needed one because of my back injury. I have to sleep on my side as I have 4 fused vertebrae from 2 car accidents. I have L2-S1 fused. Laying on my back creates a lot of pain. So I sleep on my side with a large body pillow in between by knees. Sometimes I wake up on my back though. This is nice because it is a gentle reminder to stay on my side. The only caveat is that they can only be used one time. It makes them rather expensive. For someone like me, who is on disability, I cannot afford to purchase them all the time. But they are worth it if you can afford it.
