HomeDNA Skincare Kit $99.00
Not long ago, I was offered the opportunity to take a DNA test that would tell me the answers to my skincare prayers: am I using the right skincare, do I use enough sunscreen, what kind of DNA do I have in terms of aging, am I aging at the the right rate, am I aging too fast and what kinds of skincare do they recommend that I use. All I had to do was swab two cotton swabs on the inside of my cheek for a good continuous 30 seconds (one swab at a time) and do it back and forth, up and down. Then you put the swabs in a sterile envelope that comes with the kit. You fill out all the information on the online account, including the very important barcode (which will follow your account until the end). It takes about 10 business days for them to have the results ready. I had to do it a second time because on the first try they did not get enough DNA from my sample to get enough results, so I would advise swabbing vigorously in the cheeks to make sure enough cheek cells are provided. Once the lab is finished with the DNA results, they will email you or text you and then you can log in to your account and see your results. You can even download the .PDF file to keep it on your computer so that you can refer to it whenever you want.

With this report you will learn about treatments and ingredients that will help you look your best, to help you achieve your most beautiful looking skin. Use the insights from your genetic information to take better care of your skin every day and help you choose which skin care products to purchase. The test is NOT intended to diagnose, treat, prevent or cure any disease. Results are based on genetics and not your health, diet or the environment.

Marie Papachatzis' HomeDNA Skincare Report
10/19/2017

Using the unique genetic information collected from the inside of the cheek, the HomeDNA Skin Care DNA Analysis identifies the skin's genetic potential in
seven areas of skin health. To help you understand your outcomes in each category, as well as the skin care recommendations related to them, your results are divided into the following three sections:
  • Understanding Your Genetic Score

  1. Non-ideal: Indicates that you have multiple variants and that the gene's processes may be functioning at a non-ideal level
  2. Global Average: Average score based on the global database
  3. Your Score: Using our proprietary algorithm matrix, the HomeDNA Skin Care Analysis analyzes your markers within each category to place your outcome on the sliding scale. Where you are placed is determined by our scoring system and the global average
  4. Optimal: Indicates that you do not have any genetic variations and that the gene is functioning at an optimal level
  • Your Gene Profile Overview
  1. Non-Ideal: Indicates that you have multiple variants and that thegene's processes may be functioning at a non-ideal level.
  2. Standard: Indicates your genes processes are functioning at a standard level, similar to the averagearound the world.
  3. Optimal: Indicates that you do not have any genetic variations and that the gene is functioning at an optimal level
  • Recommendation Guidelines
  1. Topical Ingredients: These are the most effective ingredients for you based on your genetics. Compare this list with the ingredients in your favorite skin care products, or use it to help you choose new products in thefuture.
  2. Supplement Ingredients: These are the most effective supplement ingredients based on your results. Compare this list with the nutritional supplements you presently take, or use it to help you choose supplements in the future.

SKIN CARE DNA | Understanding Tested Categories

Category 1: Fine Lines and Wrinkles
Fine lines and wrinkles are not only formed from a decline in collagen levels but they can also be formed by Advanced Glycation End
(AGE) products. AGEs have the ability to target and stick to collagen and elastin fibers causing them to become rigid and brittle. This is
sometimes likened to rusty springs in a mattress. The effects of glycation at skins cellular level may result in wrinkling, stiff or hardened
collagen fibers, loss of elasticity and compromised skin-barrier functions. The more sugar you consume, whether processed or natural,

the more AGEs are produced.

Category 2: Sun Protection
Your body is equipped with natural responses that help break down photo products once they have penetrated your skin. A
photochemical process helps assist in breaking down UV rays before they can do any major damage.

Skin

Category 3: Sun Sensitivity
Skin sensitivities can create unnecessary stress and trauma to the dermis, leading to tired and aged cells. This type of trauma can lead to
even further sensitivity issues. Understanding if sensitivity may be an issue allows you to better understand the type of things to avoid

and helps keep your skin as stress-free as possible

Category 4: Skin Elasticity
When you are younger, your body has the ability to maintain skin flexibility; but after approximately age 40, skin elasticity can decline due
to a group of enzymes called MMPs. MMPs can increase structural damage to the skin and create imbalances, leading to unstable

collagen support for skin and structure.

Category 5: Pigmentation
Melanin helps protect your skin by absorbing damaging UV rays when you are exposed to the sun. This exposure to sunlight can also
cause your skin to produce more melanin in an attempt to protect the skin. As melanin production increases, our skin begins to tan and

darken. Most irregular skin pigmentation is either caused by an over- or under-production of melanin in the body.

Category 6: Collagen Quality
Collagen makes up approximately 75% of skin, and youthful skin is in large part do to healthy collagen levels. While collagen production
naturally occurs throughout our lives, the quality and quantity vary. As such, many people can experience different levels of skin-aging

attributes based on each individuals level of collagen quality.

Caetogory 7: Skin Anti-oxidants
Premature skin-aging is often a result of free-radical activity within the body. Free radicals are harmful molecules that are produced
naturally from environmental exposures such as tobacco smoke, pollution, and oxygen. The role of antioxidants is to help break down the
damaging effects of free radicals. Antioxidants can also help slow some of the physical signs of aging in order to help preserve your

skins natural glow.

Marie Papachatzis' Score in Categories

Category 1: Fine Lines and Wrinkles
Blood sugar levels can affect the appearance of your skin, in addition to your overall health. Your results indicate you carry few of the gene variations associated with glucose-related fine lines and wrinkles. Excess blood sugar can not only cause a number of health concerns, but can also affect the skin. The body breaks sugar down into many forms and each one requires a set of processors designed to convert sugar into energy. If there is too much sugar in the body or if the body is unable to break it down efficiently, protein molecules can cross-link with the sugar molecules. The result is sugar-protein molecules called Advanced Glycation End Products (AGEs). This cross-linking causes collagen to become fragile and break, ultimately leading to the formation
of fine lines, wrinkles, and thinning skin.

GENE AT 3P25.2 Anti-Wrinkle Promotion
Optimal: This gene reduces one of the processors that cause collagen fibers to
harden, leading to wrinkles. Your results show that it functions at an
optimal level and that your risk is standard.

GENE AT 1P31.3 Wrinkle Formation Factor
Non-Ideal: This gene helps the body break down excess glucose. Extra glucose can stick to collagen and elastin, causing the collagen to become fragile
and break. This leads to fine lines, wrinkles, and thinning skin. Your
results show that the gene functions at a non-ideal level and that you
have increased risk.

GENE AT 6P21.32 Wrinkle Formation Factor
Optimal: Combined with Wrinkle Formation Factor 1, this gene can speed up the
onset of fine lines and wrinkles. Your results show you have standard
risk associated with the hardening of collagen fibers.

For topical treatments I was told: Your risk in this category is low. To maintain the health of your skin, consider using preventative antioxidants such as vitamins C or E. Always consult a physician or qualified medical professional before beginning any nutritional program.

Category 2: Sun Protection
UV rays from sunlight play a role in skin aging. Your results indicate you carry some of the gene variations that can weaken your skin's natural protection against the sun. The suns UV rays are a major cause of premature skin-aging. Over time, excessive sun exposure (particularly UVA rays) can cause a decline in the visual appearance and overall health of your skin. UVA Rays have very minimal immediate outward effects and their damage may not become visible for many years.

GENE AT 10Q11.23 Sun Protection
Optimal: This gene regulates your skins natural ability to protect against cellular
damage caused by the suns UV rays. Your results show that the gene
functions optimally and that you have standard risk with regard to sun
exposure.

GENE AT 5Q12.1 Sun Protection
Optimal: This gene regulates your skins natural ability to protect against cellular
damage caused by the suns UV rays. Your results show that the gene
functions optimally and that you have standard risk with regard to sun
exposure.

GENE AT 4P16.3 Sun Protection
Optimal:This gene regulates your skins natural ability to protect against cellular
damage caused by the suns UV rays. Your results show that the gene
functions optimally and that you have standard risk with regard to sun
exposure.

Topical Ingredients Recommended:
  • Ferulic Acid: Helps restore collagen synthesis after UV exposure
  •  Pomegranate: Prevents and reduces sunlight damage (photoaging) after exposure
  •  Pine Bark Extract (Pinus pinasta, Pycnogenol): Reduces redness after UV exposure
  •  Resveratrol: Helps prevent UV damage to skin
  •  Zinc Oxide: Blocks/reduces UV penetration into the skin
Recommended Supplements:
  •  Niacinamide (vitamin B3): Helps repair skin damage when exposed to too much UV light
  •  Vitamin C: Limits the damage caused by UV exposure
  •  Beta Carotene: Provides added skin support against UV exposure
  •  Vitamin D: Ideal if you do not receive regular sun exposure
Professional Treatments:
  • LED Light Therapy: Helps repair DNA damage caused by UV exposure
Category 3: Skin Sensitivity
Five genes were tested for skin sensitivity. Skin sensitivity can be caused by a number of factors, including genetic ones. The results indicate you carry some of the gene variations that may trigger unwanted skin sensitivity issues. Sensitive skin can come in many forms and may be due to climate changes, breakouts, application of fragrance products, and even active skin care. Many skin-sensitivity issues are warning signs that your skin may not be reacting well to these stressors.

GENE AT 7P15.3 Skin Sensitivity
Standard: This gene helps regulate your bodys inflammatory response after cuts, bruises, and exposure to skin irritants. Your results show that you may
be prone to some degree of over-response that can prematurely age
the skin or contribute to conditions such as rosacea, rashes, and raised
bumps.
GENE AT 1Q32.1 Skin Sensitivity
Standard: This gene helps regulate your bodys inflammatory response after cuts, bruises, and exposure to skin irritants. Your results show that you may
be prone to some degree of over-response that can prematurely age
the skin or contribute to conditions such as rosacea, rashes, and raised
bumps.
GENE AT 6P21.33 Skin Sensitivity
Standard: This gene helps regulate your bodys inflammatory response after cuts, bruises, and exposure to skin irritants. Your results show that you may
be prone to some degree of over-response that can prematurely age
the skin or contribute to conditions such as rosacea, rashes, and raised
bumps.
GENE AT 1Q42.12 Pollution/Fragrance Sensitivity
Optimal: This gene helps break down the chemical compounds that cause skin
sensitivity. Your results show you may experience irritations caused by
pollution, scented products, and skin care ingredients. You may find
that these issues do not manifest until later in life.
GENE AT 6P21.33 Pollution/Fragrance Sensitivity
Optimal: This gene helps regulate your bodys inflammatory response after cuts,
bruises, and exposure to skin irritants. Your results show that you are
not prone to an over-response that can prematurely age the skin or
contribute to conditions such as rosacea, rashes, and raised bumps.

Category 4: Skin Elasticity
Helps identify if MMPs are overactive or if they are at normal levels. Variations that can cause an overactive state may result in weaker collagen support and elasticity issues. Here is where my skin was standard to non-ideal.
Elasticity is the ability of your skin to stretch and return to its original shape. Your results indicate you carry genetic variations that compromise your skins elasticity. Skin Elasticity is the skins ability to stretch and then go back to its original state. As we age, elasticity can decrease due to bodily processors that may weaken the collagen support fibers.

GENE AT 11Q22.2 COLLAGEN FORMATION FACTOR 1, 2, 3
Standard: This marker helps determine the quality of the collagen structure
supporting the skin, which is key to its smoothness, firmness, and
youthfulness. Your results show the marker functions at a less-thanoptimal
level and you may be prone to weakness.

GENE AT 22Q12.3 COLLAGEN DEPRECIATION
Non-Ideal: This gene helps activate robots that damage collagen quality and
structure within the skin. Your results show you have an increased risk
level associated with this activator.

Topical Ingredients:
• Beta Glucan: Promotes collagen synthesis and skin elasticity
• Centella Asiatica: Promotes cell growth factors to help maintain
skin elasticity
• DMAE Bitartrate: Provides firming benefits to skin beginning to
lose elasticity

• LED Light Therapy: Reduces the enzyme responsible for elasticity
breakdown
• Radio Frequency/IR: Increases collagen production

Category 5: Pigmentation
Helps identify if there is an over- or under-production of melanin that can lead to a complexion with uneven skin pigmentation. Irregular melanin production can be a factor in uneven skin tone and pigmentation. Your results
indicate you carry few of the gene variations that make you prone to irregularities. Uneven skin pigmentation is common across all skin colors, skin types, and ethnic backgrounds. It can be caused by a number of reasons, including exposure to sunlight and genetics. Your skin gets its color from a pigment called melanin. Melanin is an important mechanism in your body and that is designed to help protect your skin from the sun. When skin cells become damaged or unhealthy, melanin production can be affected: this results in varying levels of tanning responses, pigmentation responses and overall skin-health protection. Here I was completely optimal. It's funny because my arms are covered in freckles and I burn like crazy in the sun.

GENE AT 16Q24.3 Tanning Response
Optimal: This gene can affect the switch that controls your skins tanning
response. Your results show your body may be more prone to burning
and sunspots, and less prone to tan. You may be less able to withstand
higher amounts of sun exposure. You may also find that, despite your
sensitivity to the sun, you still tan modestly.

GENE AT 6P25.3 Freckle Factor
Optimal: This gene influences the production of the skin pigment melanin. Your
results show that you have standard risk associated with skin
discolorations and freckling.

Recommendations:
Your risk in this category is low. To maintain the health of your skin, consider using preventative antioxidants such as vitamins C or E. Always consult a physician or qualified medical professional before
beginning any nutritional program.

Category 6: Collagen Quality
The genetic variations tested in this category help assess the quality of the collagen your body produces, as well as other factors that affect your ability to maintain a healthy level of collagen production. Skin collagen levels naturally decline with age. Your results indicate you carry few of the
genetic variations that can speed up the rate at which your collagen quality declines. Your body's ability to maintain healthy collagen levels also appears to be within the ideal range. Collagen is the major protein found in skin. Its fibers create a "scaffold" that provides both strength and structure - collagen is truly what holds the skin together! Collagen also helps give skin its smooth, plump, young appearance. Its production is vital in helping to keep skin full and
firm.

GENE AT 17Q21.33 Collagen Fiber Formation
Optimal: This gene provides instructions for creating the most abundant form of
collagen found in the skin. Your results show that it functions at an
optimal level and that your risk is standard.

GENE AT 2Q32.2 Collagen Fiber Formation
Optimal: This gene provides instructions for creating the secondmost abundant
form of collage in the skin. Your results that show it functions at the optimal level and that your risk is standard.

GENE AT 2Q14.1 Collagen Repair
Standard: This gene regulates the bodys ability to maintain skin barrier
protection, as well as repair damaged collagen tissue. Your results
show that it functions at a less-than-optimal level and that your risk is
partially increased.

GENE AT 6P21.33 Collagen Breakdown
Optimal: This gene helps determine how well your body can form and remodel
collagen. Your results show that your risk is standard.

Recommendations: Your risk in this category is low. To maintain the health of your skin, consider using preventative antioxidants such as vitamins C or E. Always consult a physician or qualified medical professional before
beginning any nutritional program.

Category 7: Skin Anti-Oxidants
Helps identify any variations that may lead to reduced skin antioxidant protection. Antioxidants help protect your skin against free-radical damage. Your results indicate you carry some of the gene variations that can reduce your skin's natural antioxidant protection. Antioxidants are your true best friends - they are naturally-occurring substances that help reduce the damage to the skin caused by free radicals. Antioxidants are also produced from within the body by key genes to help provide a boost of protection.

GENE AT 16Q.22.1 Anti-Oxidant Factor
Optimal: This gene affects the bodys ability to produce essential antioxidants
that scavenge skin-damaging free radicals. Your results show that your ability to produce these antioxidants is standard.

GENE AT 6Q25.3 Anti-Oxidant Factor
Optimal: This gene affects the bodys ability to produce essential antioxidants
that scavenge skin-damaging free radicals. Your results show that your ability to produce these antioxidants is standard.

GENE AT 3P21.31 Anti-Oxidant Factor
Optimal: This gene affects the bodys ability to produce essential antioxidants
that scavenge skin-damaging free radicals. Your results show that your ability to produce these antioxidants is standard.

GENE AT 11P13 Free Radical Scavenger
Non-Ideal: This gene regulates a free radical scavenger that helps protect skin
cells from oxidative damage. Your results show that it functions at a non-ideal level and that you have increased risk.

GENE AT 16Q22.1 Pollution Protection
Standard: This gene affects the bodys ability to detoxify harmful compounds in
environmental pollutants, such as cigarette smoke and exhaust fumes, that create skin-damaging free radicals. Your results show that it functions at a less-than-optimal level and that you have partially increased risk.

Topical Recommendations:
• Squalene: Reduces the number of skin-damaging free radicals
• Vitamin C: Reduces free radicals
• Vitamin E (a-tocopherol form): Helps protect the skin from free
radical damage
• Resveratrol: Protects cells from oxidative stress and activates the
synthesis of other antioxidants
• Phloretin: Helps protect the skin from free radical damage

Supplements:
• Grape Seed Extract: Scavenges free radicals
• Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10): Protects cells from free-radical damage
• Resveratrol: Protects cells from oxidative stress and activates the
synthesis of other antioxidants
• Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA): Protects cells from damage and helps
restore antioxidants, including vitamins C and E

Professional Treatments:
• Mesotherapy: Infuses the skin with antioxidants
• Antioxidant Facials: Infuses the skin with antioxidants

That is the gist of the HomeDNA Skincare Test. To sum up, I had 15 genes at the Optimal level, 7 at the Standard level and and 3 at the Non-Ideal out of 25 genes they tested. That means that genetically, I have pretty good skin. So not only do I take good care of my skin, but I was lucky enough to be born with good skin in the first place. And I can tell this because my mother had good skin, no acne and no wrinkles when she passed away at 55. My father also has good skin, very few wrinkles into his 70's. My goal is to keep taking good care of my skin so that I will not get wrinkles. I will stay out of the sun, because I know I am susceptible to sunburn and freckling. I also know that I am VERY susceptible to anti-oxidant damage.

I hope you have understood all of this. If there are any questions regarding the results, please contact me at mariepapachatzis@gmail.com. I am available to answer questions about the test the results the genetics, etc. Thank you for reading.

Review: Jan Marini Skin Research Clean Zyme Cleanser and Skin Zyme Mask #JMSR #CleanZymeCleanser #SkinZymeMask

(product photos courtesy of www.brandbacker.com and www.janmarini.com)

4 fl.oz./119mL $30.00
Clean Zyme Cleanser and Skin Zyme Mask are supplemental home care exfoliation products that have the ability to remove dead skin cells without harming sensitive or irritated tissues. Use anytime for an immediate polished look. Intended to be used together. Both products are also great when used as part of a comprehensive skin care regimen.

Clean Zyme should be applied in place of regular cleanser and left on 1 to 2 minutes. Remove with a clean, wet and wrung out washcloth using lukewarm water. Blot dry.

2 oz./57g $60.00
Apply Skin Zyme in a thin even layer over entire face (and neck, if desired) and allow to remain for up to 20 minutes. To remove Skin Zyme, apply a small amount of Clean Zyme to face and massage very gently to achieve emulsification. Remove with a washcloth and splash face 10 to 15 times with lukewarm water. Blot dry and follow with usual Skin Care Management products and/or moisturizer.

They are both great for dry, normal, oily, acne-prone and sensitive skin types. Both products have a Proteolytic Enzyme from papain, which comes from the Papaya fruit. This is the main exfoliant in these products and it is one of the best and most sensitive exfoliants. Clean Zyme wil help get rid of the surface debris on your skin, the dead skin cells on the surface and anything else lying on the surface of the skin (the epidermis), while Skin Zyme reaches far into the pores to physicaly draw out impurities and get rid of the gunk clogging up the pores such as sebum, dirt, debris and dead skin cells.

These products are meant to be used together. First, cleanse your skin with the Clean Zyme and leave it on for a couple of minutes. The rinse off with a washcloth. Dry face. Apply a layer of Skin Zyme to the face and let it sit for up to 20 minutes. Use a small amount of Clean Zyme and massage onto face and gently emulsify the the mask with water so that it is ready to come off. Remove with same washcloth. Blot dry with a towel. Skin will look gloriously clean and vibrant. It will be bright, cheery and pink.

I have used a LOT of exfoliants in my time. This is very good. I believe I like it so much because of the attached cleansing element. I like that you cleanse your skin first with an exfoliant and then do an enzyme exfoliant so when you are finished your skin will glow like nothing else. It really it amazing. If you suffer from dull skin or acneic skin this is something that both of you will need to use to get really good skin again. It will help to get rid of scarring, blemishes, large pores, and oiliness. As well as extraneous dead skin and hyperpigmentation.

Purchase both products together or separately, they come out to be $90.00. Review: tu'el Absorb Mattifying Serum #tuel #Absorb #MattifyingSerum

(product photo courtesy of www.tuelskincare.com)

2 fl.oz./60mL $48.00
Do you suffer from oily skin or a shiny face that just won't go away? Have you tried just about every mattifying product in the makeup aisle? Well I have something here that you haven't tried but works wonders. It is called tu'el Absorb Mattifying Serum. If you are saying, "Dear Shiny Face, Please Go Away!" then this if for you! Gel real oil control and shine-free face with Absorb. This product is powered by natural plant extracts of burnet, cinnamon, ginger and green tea to control oil, to inhibit breakouts and to leave your skin looking fresh and matte ALL day long. Sodium Hyaluronate helps to lock in hydration so you don't feel dry and your skin does not feel like its been tested all day long. It helps to give yourself flow without the shine. The best way to use Absorb is to apply every morning to the face and neck then let dry and apply moisturizer. It is best to apply tu'el Daily Protect Oil Free Moisturizer. It works perfect under makeup, thus leaving you red carpet ready all day long.

When I first tried it I was a little skeptical. I have tried products that have said that they would leave me matte all day, especially foundations. You can understand my skepticism. So I used it and waited all day long, looking in the mirror periodically. Every time I looked my skin still looked good. And the only thing I wore over it was a little bit of powder foundation. My skin tends to be a little oilier in the heat and drier in the cold. I tried it out in the heat. So I tried it again another day with a full face of foundation (harder to keep matte). And this was a full coverage foundation. Again, I checked the mirror periodically to see how it was working. And again, it worked great. I was very happy with this product. It did exactly what it said it was going to do. It kept my face shine free all day long. tu'el Absorb Mattifying Serum works wonders.

Review: LIFELINE Skincare #LIFELINE #Skincare

(product photos courtesy of www.lifelineskincare.com)

How does one use scientific breakthroughs to craft superior anti-aging skin care? At Lifeline, they began with their own patented stem cell skin care discovery. While researching cures for diabetes and Parkinson's Disease, a team of biotech scientists discovered a powerful human stem cell extract that improved the look of aging skin. This discovery has created a new era in anti-aging skin care products. They continued to build on that stem cell success, using their advanced absorption technology to deliver specialized ingredients more effectively through our expanded skin care line.

The Power of Human Stem Cells

Their founding team of scientists discovered a new class of stem cells that promise to change health care, and skin care. They created the first non-embryonic human stem cells. These cells can proliferate and live almost indefinitely. And with this discovery, stem cell cures for incurable diseases, like Parkinson's Disease, liver disease, and blindness, now look promising. Their unique patented process creates human stem cell extracts from unfertilized eggs, rather than embryos. The parent company, International Stem Cell Corporation (ISCO) is the only source for these ground-breaking stem cell skin serums. ISCO has pioneered a new class of human pluripotent stem cells derived from unfertilized eggs. These stem cells, known as human parthenogenetic stem cells (hpSC) retain all of the advantages required to generate targeted therapeutic tissues for research and regenerative therapies.
New absorption technologies deliver advanced anti-aging ingredients like never before. Lifeline Skin Care products are more easily absorbed by the skin, because of the small molecular technology. Recently, their scientists have found a way to harness small molecular technology, allowing specialized ingredients to be absorbed into skin more easily and infinitely faster because of their low molecular weight. These micro-molecules work to firm and tone, awakening dormant collagen and more.

Breakthrough skin care helps fund research:
The purchasing of Lifeline Skin Care products helps to fund further research into finding cures and treatments for:

• Parkinson's Disease and other diseases of the nervous system
• Blinding diseases of the eye
• Liver disease

All products sold from the website are guaranteed to be genuine Lifeline products. They do not license the brand name, the technology, the stem cell extracts or proprietary ingredients to any other company. You can purchase Lifeline Skin Care online, and through select physicians, spas, and international distributors.* taken from Lifeline website

Facial oils have become all the rage in the skincare world. And with good reason. It doesn't matter what kind of skin type you have, you can use a facial oil. Even if you have oily skin. The oil on you skin (sebum) is different from the oil in these facial oils. These are botanical oils that come from plants. They are molecular-wise smaller than what is on our skin. The oils penetrate our skin deep enough to make a difference and sink right into the skin, hydrating it and giving it the moisture it needs so that your skin feels better.

This particular facial oil called the DERMA E Essentials Illuminating Rosehip & Cranberry Facial Oil Pumpkin Seed Oil is a great oil for normal skin to dry skin. Applied after cleansing and toning, it sinks into skin and leaves it feeling hydrated, luminous, healthy-looking, brightened, and more youthful looking. This is due to the plant botanicals, the Rosehip Oil (which brightens), the Cranberry Oil and organic Pumpkin Seed Oils that provide a more youthful glow. Skin will look younger, feel younger and have an overall appearance of youth. Such as radiance, plump skin, little to no fine lines or wrinkles and very little pigmentation.

To use, apply 2-3 drops to hands and then massage onto clean face in the morning and evening. In the morning, make sure to follow up with a SPF of 30 or more. Sunscreen is one of the main anti-aging ingredients that helps prevent fine lines and wrinkles as well as hyperpigmentation. In the evening follow with a moisturizing cream if needed. If not, use just the oil.

I really, really like this facial oil because it sinks into my skin, leaving it feeling soft, supple, brightened and ready for makeup or ready for skincare. I like to use gadgets to help get the skincare into my skin as much as I could have been. They really help to get the skincare into the skin without wasting it. This oil is a great one because it does what is says it is gong to do. It does not make promises that it is not going to keep.

People always ask me if they need toner. It is kind of a tricky answer. It honestly depends on how your cleanser is, your skin type and if you like your skin to feel really clean. Toners do more than that. They also prepare the skin for what is to come: they prep the skin by restoring its pH level and on their own, they have ingredients in them that are wonderful, they prepare the skin for the following skincare products and can change the skin and make it feel great.

That brings me to DERMA E's Essentials Radiance Toner. This toner is more than just water with a little bit of rosewater in it. It has glycolic acid to remove extraneous dead skin cells. It is alcohol free to tone, tighten and brighten for a soft, smooth and luminous appearance. The glycolic acid helps to exfoliate and remove dead skin cells for younger looking skin, to brighten up the skin, and for a younger-looking complexion. An exceptional blend of botanicals such as Rooibos and Rosehip extracts help to revive skin for a fresh, radiant complexion.

DERMA E is ethical beauty. They are committed to your health, well-being and the natural environment. That is whey they make eco-ethical skincare. Their skincare is cruelty-free, GMO free, gluten-free, soy-free, recyclable and wind energy certifiable. Their products are all natural and as organic as they can be.

To use the toner: saturate a cotton pad with the toner. Sweep gently around the face, neck, and decolleté; being careful to avoid the eye area. Use in the morning and in the evening to prep skin for your favorite DERMA E moisturizer.

This toner is absolutely AMAZING. The glycolic acid in it brightens up the skin in no time, leaving very little hyperpigmentation in its wake. That is the second ingredient on the bottle. So it is not there to play. It takes care of melasma too. Use this daily and in a few weeks your skin will look great. Makes sure to use ti 2x a day though. And is has a beautiful rose aroma that makes it smell wonderful too, just like the other DERMA E Essentials items. The Rooibos and Rosehip also help to make the complexion bright and beautiful too.
