PHLUR, with the success of its first six fragrances, has decided, just in time for the holidays, that they would get into the candle game. And boy did they. Their candles smell just as amazing, if not more than, their fragrances. I was able to try Annica, which was inspired by the Hanami fragrance. The scent was made by Nathalie Benareau, who created Hanami.

The Annica Candle, with its reverent subtlety an its warm embrace, is designed to induce tranquility in those moments where calm is required. An interpretation of their Hanami fragrance, Annica shares Hanami's mimimalist sensibility. Together they also share notes of fig, white florals, hazelnut and sandalwood. The custom ceramic vessel is designed for reuse after you've burned the entire candle. Would you like a paper clip holder? Well now you have one! Terrarium? Decorative knick-knack? The only limit is your creativity. PHLUR's products are cruelty-free and free of parabens, phthalates and animal products. The candles are hand-poured with a blend of 80% vegetable wax and 20% food-grade paraffin in Greenfield, Massachusets.

The candle is very nice. It burns evenly, in a room that is not drafty. This was the candle will burn nicely all the way down to the end in an even motion that does not mess with the wick or allow any wax to cover the wick so that you have to dig it out. The scent is purely divine. You will find yourself just smelling the candle over and over again because you have never smelled something like this. It will make you want the PHLUR scents. Trust me. I have tried all of them and they are all wonderful. Hanami and Annica are great scents that are almost unisex in nature but are woody florals. After you try the candle, definitely try the fragrances that PHLUR makes. They are amazing.

This would make a great gift for just about anyone. A wife, girlfriend, lover, mother, daughter, sister, good friend, etc. It would make a really good gift. This is something that anyone would appreciate.
