Korean Skincare (or K-Beauty as it is known) has taken over the US. It is everywhere. And with good reason. Have you ever seen the women from South Korea? Their skin is impeccable. They take very good care of their skin, with regimens that have at least 6 steps or more. I love this because I believe in taking very good care of your skin, as it helps with your self-esteem. Today I am going to review two products that will soon be available at www.peachandlily.com, the top site for K-Beauty in the United States. They have a plethora of products available on their website and at several CVS stores across America.

Toner*Essence*Cream
3.38 fl.oz./100mL $17.99
This cream helps to provide intense nourishment for the skin through  active arginine, which is an amino acid complex that promotes elasticity of the skin. Also, this ultra-hydrating cream absorbs quickly to instantly calm irritated skin and minimize any redness caused by environmental factors for a smooth, even-toned complexion. Although some moisturizers can clog pores and make them look larger, this lightweight formula helps to keep skin looking clear and well hydrated so the complexion looks plump, smooth and soft all day long.

How to use: Apply a dime-size amount of moisturizer to your skin in light circular motions as the last step of your skincare routine. If you have sensitive skin, it can be kept in the refrigerator and used on the skin for calming benefits. Or, use at night as a sleeping mask for intense hydration and nourishment. Apply a thick layer to skin (twice the usual amount) and massage onto face before sleeping. In the morning skin will feel well hydrated and look younger.

I found this cream to be wonderful. I like to use it as a sleeping mask the best. It hydrates the skin and leaves it with a wonderful glow that way. This cream kind of sinks into the skin after application but when used as a sleeping mask sits on the skin as a regular cream mask. It really helps dry skin, which I have during the winter.

Purify For Sensitive Skin
1.76 oz./50g $16.99
Masks are essential to keep skin and pores clean. In Korea, masks are used several times a week. They are a very important part of the skincare regimen. This mask helps to give you squeaky clean skin, as the micro-oxygen bubbles within this mask work with charcoal and buffing grains to clean pores and eliminate impurities, thus leaving behind a bright, fresh complexion. Within the mask is charcoal, which has been used in hospital emergency rooms to treat alcohol poisoning and drug overdoses for ages. It works by attaching to toxins in the stomach and absorbing them before the bloodstream can. The theory this works similarly in beauty products, as charcoal acts like a magnet to attract and absorb dirt and oil. Charcoal is used in skincare to absorb dirt, sebum and impurities from the skin and pores,

How To Use: First cleanse the skin and pat dry. Apply enough of the mask to massage gently (3g). Lleave on for about 10 minutes until bubbles form. Once bubbles have formed, gently massage into skin once more and then rinse off with lukewarm water (massage 2-3 times for additional tightening benefits). Follow with the rest of your skincare routine. Make sure to avoid contact with the eye area.

Using this mask is fun. It not only is a mask but an exfoliant too. I could almost immediately feel the bubbles forming on my skin, I did not have to wait 10 minutes. I like that this is for sensitive skins, so that anyone can use it. It feels tingly on the skin. When done with the mask, skin feels clean but not too dry. It feels like the toxins have been pulled from the skin.

Here is a photo of me wearing the mask. Notice is is not a very thick mask:
