The City Kits: All-In-One Eye & Cheek Palette Urban Light

The City Kits: All-In-One Eye & Cheek Palette Pink Edge
Maybelline The City Kits All-In-One Eye & Cheek Palette is a wonderful new fun kit that brightens the eye area up and highlights the cheek area contours. There are two kits: Urban Light and Pink Edge. I was given Urban Light to test out. I loved it so much I went out and bought Pink Edge. In these kits you get iridescent to edgy matte eyes, and can create an infinite number of makeup looks with these city inspired all-in-one makeup palettes. Each eye and cheek palette includes 8 creamy eyeshadows, 1 blush and 1 highlighter. The Urban Light Kit has the lighter colors, these are the more iridescent shades while the Pink Edge kit has pink and brown shades. Use both together to get a rockin' eye.

To Use:
  • Step 1. Apply color from the eyelid to the brow bone.
  • Step 2. Shade in lid.
  • Step 3. Add color to inner corner.
  • Step 4. Contour at the crease and line of eye
  • Step 5. Apply highlighter.
  • Step 6. Apply blush.

Here is a photo of me wearing both kits that I posted a few days ago:

Here I used both Maybelline The City Kits in Pink Edge and Urban Light on my eyes (the medium brown from the Pink Edge City kit in the crease, with the black in the transition and a little bit on the lower lash line, then I used the purple shade from the Urban Light kit on my lids and the bright pink shade below the brow), Lasting Drama Light Liner in Twinkle Black on upper lids, Moonlight Purple on lower lids and White Luster on waterline, Total Temptation Mascara.

Then for these photos:

Here I wore the light brown shade from Pink Edge in the crease, and the black-brown shade from Pink edge in the transition. Then I took the beautiful iridescent pink shade in Urban Light and used it on the upper lids and finally used the iridescent white under the brows. On the upper lids I am wearing Lasting Drama Light Eyeliner in Shiny Bronze. On my cheeks are the blush and highlight from the Urban Light kit. I am wearing Color Sensational Power Matte in Carnal Brown on my lips.

Lasting Drama Light Eyeliner Shiny Bronze
Maybelline Lasting Drama Light Eyeliner brightens the eye up for eye-opening impact. This eyeliner illuminates and defines the eye with lustrous eye-lightening pigments. This is a long-lasting, smudge-proof and waterproof eyeliner! It comes in 5 shades: Twinkle Black, Moonlight Purple, White Luster, Shiny Bronze and Starlit Gold.

To Use:
  • Step 1. Apply the liner along the upper lash line, along the bottom eye line, and at the waterline.
  • Step 2. For extra eye-brightening effect, line the pencil along the inner corners of the eye.
This eyeliner is gorgeous on. It makes your eyes look beautiful. I found it goes really well with The City Kits in Urban Light an Pink Edge. I am wearing the liners in the above photos.
