Yesterday I did a review on alba botanica's hawaiian detox towelettes. I mentioned how much I really liked them. For a long time I have been a fan of alba botanica products, especially the hawaiian line. Their products are very nice, they contain good ingredients and their products are great on the skin. Today I am going to continue the review of the detox line with the cleanser.
alba botanica hawaiian detox cleanser anti-pollution volcanic clay is a great cleanser for any skin type, but is especially good for normal, combination to oily skins. It is detoxifying as it helps get rid of the pollutants that your skin (specifically the pores) gets clogged up with thus causing your complexion to become a mess. Powerful volcanic clay helps to extract all the gunk from the the pores, clearing away problematic impurities while an infusion of torch ginger and yerba mata help to rebuild the skin's natural defenses. Aloha, bright, clean, clear skin! The cleanser is also rich in anti-oxidants to help fight off free-radicals.
This cleanser is hypo-allergenic, so it is good for even sensitive skins too. It has been made with 100% vegetarian ingredients. Also it does not have any: synthetic fragrances, harsh sulfates, artificial colors and no parabens or phthalates. To use: Massage a dime sized amount of cleanser into a frothy lather over damp face and neck, Rinse and be happy that your face is clean and detoxified.
I love how this cleanser feels on the skin. It has a nice rich lather, but does not strip the skin of its natural moisture barrier, so it leaves the skin feeling nice and clean but not dry and parched. My skin was "detoxified" meaning after using it for a long time I noticed a difference in how my skin looked, my pores looked smaller and I did not have as many problems with blackheads, small pimples or breakouts.
