Ebanel Brightening Peeling Gel is a gentle exfoliating gel that helps to get rid of dead skin cells, impurities and clogged pores. It works like a 'gommage' as the French would say. The effective formula helps to activate new skin cell regeneration by visibly lifting dead skin cells to uncover a radiant complexion. As it dries on the skin, the peeling gel attaches itself to the uppermost layer of the epidermis and you massage it off, thus massaging off the dead skin cells. Experience an intensive yet gentile exfoliation to eliminate dirt and grime, while also providing a soothing sensation without irritating or stripping the skin of its natural moisture barrier. This product is gentle enough for all skin types, even sensitive skins. It contains natural moisture-rich Cellulose, which gently removes dead skin cells, Stem Cell Extracts, Peptides, Vitamins C & E, and Cotton all leave the skin feeling silky smooth and deeply hydrated. This product also contains Mushroom Extract, Edelweiss Extract, Tomato Culture Extract, Aloe Leaf Extract, Honey Extract, Licorice Root Extract, Willow Bark Extract, Glycerin and Allantoin. The plant extracts help with exfoliation and also act as brightening agents (as well as the Vitamin C) and anti-oxidants. Honey Extract and Allantoin are soothing to the skin. This product is paraben-free, phthalate-free, sulfate-free and is vegan.
To use: after cleansing skin, apply a quarter-sized amount of peeling gel to damp face (avoiding eye and lip area). Gently massage with fingertips using circular motions for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Dead skin and peeling residue will form. It will look like a sweater pilling up. Rinse off thoroughly with lukewarm water. Use once or twice a week for best results. Skin might look slightly pink after use and is okay.
Peeling gels are not something that American women use often. They are used in European and Korean skincare. I believe they are starting to catch on but will take a few years before they really start to be part of the normal skincare regimen. They are extremely easy to use. Essentially you apply the gel and wait a few seconds for it to dry before you massage it off and voilà you have softer, smoother skin. It is a very easy way to exfoliate the skin. Another thing is that this kind of exfoliation is good for any skin type, especially sensitive skin. I would not recommend it for acneic skins with a lot of pustules though as they might break open and spread bacteria and infection all over the face. The Ebanel Brightening Peeling Gel is good because it is not only gentle but it brightens skin too. It takes a few times before you would notice the brightening effects, it is not noticeable right away.
I liked the way it made my skin look and feel. Which was soft, smooth and definitely brighter than it was before I started using it. I will absolutely keep using it. It is something for me to use when my skin is acting sensitive or has breakouts. Because it is gives a light exfoliation it is something I would recommend if you don't want any kind of exfoliation that is too deep or harsh on the skin. This is a product that gives a chemical and physical exfoliation in one.
