This is going to be the second review of a series of five Urban Decay reviews concentrating on complexion perfection. I will be reviewing five different products that focus on giving you the perfect complexion with your foundation. They work in conjunction with foundation to make skin look more polished and pretty much perfect. All of these are Urban Decay products provided to me for review specifically for the purpose of complexion perfection.
Facial oils have become all the rage. And with good reason. Anyone can use a good facial oil. And I do mean anyone, with any skin type. The oils in facial oils have nothing to do with the sebum produced in one's pores (hair follicles). They are oils that are light, good for the skin and are non-comedogenic, meaning they will not clog the pores and thus will not cause acne. Facial oils usually consist of a light oil that is easily absorbed into the skin and can be worn at night, thus making sure that the oil does not cause any slickness to the skin during the day.

This product helps you create your own luxurious, skin softening complexion cocktail with the facial oil. Add a drop to your foundation for conditioned skin and a dewy, radiant glow. The lightweight, nourishing oil blend helps makeup apply smoothly and blend easily, leaving skin soft, not greasy and also feeling plumped. For perfect skin, add a drop to All Nighter Waterproof Longwear Liquid Foundation, Naked Skin Liquid Makeup or Naked Skin One & Done, then apply as usual. Once you try this product as a mix-in, you will want to use this multipurpose oil other ways too. It can be used under night cream as a serum for added benefits, that is the way UD founder Wende likes to use it. It can also be worn alone for a fresh glow or under makeup as an amazing base.

Rich in nutrients and antioxidants, Drop Shot contains a blend of jojoba oil, sunflower seed oil, macadamia oil, pomegranate oil, wheat germ oil, meadowfoam oil and olive seed oil to condition the complexion. The unique formula has the perfect amount of slip, but without the greasy feel of some oils. It dries down perfectly, sinks right into the skin, absorbing into the skin beautifully and it smells amazing! Urban Decay is 100% cruelty-free.
I've been using this oil for a while now, since it first came out. I absolutely love it. I like to mix it in with my foundation (just one drop will do) and it makes the foundation go on so much smoother and adds just a perfect amount of glow to the skin. It also allows the foundation to blend much easier and makes it last longer too. Also, I like to use it under my foundation as a primer. It makes a wonderful primer. Just a couple of drops on the pads of the fingers, blended into the skin and it immediately absorbs into the skin, leaving a beautiful glow to the skin. Foundation goes on great on top of this, gliding on perfectly and leaving no streaks or marks. Now, at night I like to add this to my skincare regimen and use it instead of serums. I will use Drop Shot Mix-In Facial Oil as a base under my night cream and it adds the right amount of extra moisture my dry skin needs.

This product really is a multi-use product that does a number of things. And it is so good for the skin. As a skincare expert, I can say with certainty that any skin type can use this without fear that acne is going to pop up. This oil is very, very light and does not leave any greasiness on the skin. It absorbs right into the skin. All that you feel is skin that is soft, dewy and looks beautiful.
