2018 is the year of all things holographic in the cosmetics industry. Makeup has taken a futuristic turn and it looks absolutely gorgeous. I love all of the shimmery iridescent and holographic eyeshadows, highlighters and lip colors that have come out and it's almost as if you cannot have too much on, it looks so beautiful on the skin. Pigments are so finely milled now that they just look fantastic on the skin.

I tried out Passion Fruit, Unicorn Moment, Bang Bang and Tingles. Each color is so pretty and looks so much better than those older holographic lip glosses that they used to come out with years ago. Technology has finally caught up and they are able to suspend holographic pigments in with an emulsion that makes the pigments stay on and look iridescent in the light so that colors shift shades. The lip color is very smooth and not tacky at all. It goes on very thick and with 1-2 swipes you can get excellent coverage from this product. It also lasts a long time because the product is so thick. I wish that COVERGIRL would make this a permanent product. I think it would sell really well.
