With highlighting still being very popular, it is no wonder that every cosmetics company wants to make sure they have their own share of the action to satisfy their customers. Highlighters are a beautiful way to add a nice gleam of sheer, beautiful glow to your face. Just a tiny amount will do and it makes the whole face light up and illuminates it just enough that your skin will look 5-10 years younger instantly.

COVERGIRL decided it was time for them to come out with a couple of beautiful little highlighter palettes all of their own and they are perfect for the beginner to the expert highlighter. There are two palettes that contain a trio of highlighters to create a customized glow for any occasion! Each TruBlend Super Stunner Palette is formulated for optimal payout to compliment varying skintones, so that it looks good an any complexion. The trio of shades vary from subtle highlight to super-sparkle  and can be blended together or worn alone. Customize and personalize your glow-up for whatever mood you're in! The palettes come in two shade choices: It's Lit and Glowing Up. You will notice below that Glowing Up contains more warm shades and It's Lit contains more cool tones. They just vary slightly enough that it would make the slightest difference. If you have neutral skin like I do, you could wear both.

Below are swatches from each palette:

Above you can see swatches from both palettes. On the left is It's Lit and on the right is Glowing Up. The It's Lit palette is cooler and looks lighter. I would advise it for lighter skin tones. The darker, warmer palette would be better off for medium to dark skin tones. I am very pale and use It's Lit rather than the Glowing Up, which as you can see is very dark on my skin. Both palettes are very shimmery.

Here is a photograph of my makeup with the It's Lit palette used:

I like the TruBlend SUPER STUNNER PALETTE because the highlighter is light and not too shimmery. It goes on super subtle and looks quite pretty on. I wear the lighter one, It's Lit. I would definitely recommend this one for those with lighter skin tones or unless you really want to make your highlight pop if you have darker skin. If you have lighter skin and want a darker, shimmery contour, the Glowing Up palette would be perfect.

The COVERGIRL TruBlend SUPER STUNNER PALETTE retails for $12.99 and can be found  at mass market retailers such as Walgreens, Rite-Aid, CVS, Walmart, Target and Ulta Beauty.  Like COVERGIRL on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/covergirl; Follow COVERGIRL on Twitter: @covergirl; Follow COVERGIRL on Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/covergirlxo/; Subscribe to COVERGIRL on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/CoverGirl; Follow COVERGIRL on Instagram: https://instagram.com/covergirl/; Follow COVERGIRL on Tumblr: http://covergirl.tumblr.com/; Follow COVERGIRL on Vine: https://vine.co/u/907771872836456448, Follow @COVERGIRLXO on Snapchat and Follow COVERGIRL on Google+: https://plus.google.com/+covergirl/videos
