COVERGIRL Vitalist Go Glow Luminizing Lotion

1 fl.oz./30mL $11.99

COVERGIRL has really upped their game recently, changing the entire look of their line, coming out with new products and revamping their marketing campaigns. I like the new look of their products, as well as the marketing campaign and the new products as well. Why? Because the quality of their products has increased as well too. They are a little more expensive, but I am willing to pay that when purchasing quality products.

One of those products is the new COVERGIRL Vitalist Go Glow Luminizing Lotion. This product is a lightweight moisturizing lotion with light-reflecting pigments that is infused with Vitamins B3, B5 and E. It gives skin a naturally luminous glow and helps make skin look and feel younger. It is part of the Vitalist Elixir family of products, which are made for skin that is in need of anti-aging products. This does not have any sun protection in it, so make sure to use SPF with it, preferably under it. At least a SPF30. It has been dermatologist tested and is suitable for sensitive skin. Shake before use, as some of the pigments may settle.

I would recommend using under foundation and in place of a regular moisturizer but not in place of sun protection. This would actually prevent any anti-aging from actually taking place. Vitamins B3, B5 and E are all anti-oxidants and help to keep the skin from aging against the ravages of free radicals but if you don't use sun protection under the product you really aren't reaping the benefits of the product in the first place. It can also be mixed with foundation to create a beautiful glow to the skin and, if you have dry or mature skin, doesn't affect greatly how the foundation wears on the skin. However, I would only recommend this product for normal, dry or mature skins to begin with.

What I like about this is that it sinks right in and is not heavy at all. It adds a nice glow to the skin and allows foundation to look stunning on the face. While using this I would judge whether or not to add a primer, it just depends on how much your skin can take. Having sun protection, moisturizer and primer underneath foundation can be too much.

COVERGIRL Vitalist Go Glow Luminizing Lotion retails for $11.99 and can be found at mass market retailers such as Walgreens, Rite-Aid, CVS, Walmart, Target and Ulta Beauty.  Like COVERGIRL on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/covergirl; Follow COVERGIRL on Twitter: @covergirl; Follow COVERGIRL on Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/covergirlxo/; Subscribe to COVERGIRL on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/CoverGirl; Follow COVERGIRL on Instagram: https://instagram.com/covergirl/; Follow COVERGIRL on Tumblr: http://covergirl.tumblr.com/; Follow COVERGIRL on Vine: https://vine.co/u/907771872836456448, Follow @COVERGIRLXO on Snapchat and Follow COVERGIRL on Google+: https://plus.google.com/+covergirl/videos
