Eyeliner is something that I definitely need to use. I have small eyes and need eyeliner to open them up. I love colors because it helps bring out the green in my eyes or the blue in them (I have blue-green eyes). Recently I had the opportunity to try a new eyeliner from Maybelline. It is called Maybelline Lasting Drama Matte Eyeliner Makeup and is a smoldering matte eyeliner that comes in three shades and lasts up to 24 hours. The shades are Jet Black, Jade Olive and Rusty Terracotta. This eyeliner has a long-lasing and waterproof formula. With this liner you can really amp up your eye makeup. It delivers rich, intense definition for bold looks that apply effortlessly and gives a powder matte finish that lasts all day long. To use, glide the matte eyeliner along the upper lash line from the inner tip to the outer corner of the eye. On the bottom, apply along the lower lash line for added intensity.

I like this eyeliner very much. The reasons I like it are because it is long-lasting (24 hour wear), waterproof (I have a condition where my left eye waters a lot), and provides intense color. Those are definite reasons to like a product. Also, it doesn't smudge and is easy to apply. The eyeliner does tug slightly upon application on the upper eyelid, but it is still easier to apply than some eyeliners. The reason for this is because it is waterproof, which makes the eyeliner more waxy and harder to apply on older, crepier eyelids. Otherwise though, this eyeliner is very good and I recommend it for anytime of the year, especially summer.
