Unfortunately I suffer from dry, frizzy hair. 'Tis my lot in life I guess. I have always had very thick hair that is not too coarse but tends to be slightly wavy and annoyingly frizzy, especially (of course) when there is a lot of humidity in the air. Humidity is the enemy of frizz. 

One product that works quite well for this is Oscar Blandi Glossing Crème. This lightweight versatile styling cream works extremely well to polish hair adding shine, taming frizz and smoothing flyaways. It also helps to protect hair for heat styling. What is great is that it is weightless, so no adding extra oils, weighing down hair, making it feel greasy or oily. To use, apply a small amount to damp or dry hair. Smooth throughout hair and style as desired. 

I have tried this product on damp and dry hair. Personally, I think it works great either way. I like to use it on dry hair and use other products on my damp hair,s saving this as my final product to use after my hair has dried and STILL has some frizz in it because it seems as if nothing really gets out the frizz on wet hair. I have tried everything I think. It seems as if you have to use a few products on wet hair, dry it and then use a glossing cream on hair when it is dry to make the final step and smooth it through hair to give it the final shininess and smoothing step. Oscar Blandi also makes a Jasmine Oil that is supposed to be very good at smoothing hair and providing frizz control that is very good. It runs around $35.00. I think for me this works better on my hair when it is dry as a final step in the smoothing process.
