emerginC Lavender Toner: Review

lavender toner
If you have sensitive skin, then you know how hard it is to find products that don’t react with it and cause itching, redness or inflammation. emerginC has created its Lavender Toner for all skin types but it is especially wonderful to soothe sensitive skin with a base of lavender flowers. The toner, available at www.emerginc.com and various spas such as Caesars Las Vegas, Wynn Las Vegas and the Carneros Inn and Spa in Napa Valley, is $28.00 for 8.1 fl.oz./240 ml.

emerginC is known for always using high quality natural ingredients in its products. For this toner they chose a number of ingredients that have healing, calming and soothing properties. Lavender is a well known anti-inflammatory agent, easing and soothing sensitive and damaged skin. The lavender toner also includes green tea for greater anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. To help soothe and calm sensitive skins, it also includes cornflower, chamomile, balm mint calendula, azulene, magnolia and witch hazel. Azulene and chamomile are well known anti-inflammatory agents and witch hazel is a great astringent. The toner is ideal for all skin types but is especially good for those with sensitive skin or those with acne eruptions.

Immediately upon using the toner, skin feels refreshed. With this heat the toner could be kept in the refrigerator and sprayed on the skin as a refreshing boost during the day or in the evening. I really like using this toner at night. Spray on a cotton pad and use after makeup removal to help soothe the skin, kill bacteria and promote a proper pH level.

emerginC products are free of parabens, artificial colors and fragrances. All of their ingredients are sourced naturally and they do not test on animals or use animal ingredients. In their commitment to the environment, all of their outer boxes are printed on Forest Stewardship Council and Sustainable Forest Initiative certified paperboard with non-toxic vegetable-based inks. emerginC is also a proud compact signer at safecosmetics.org.

This product is a test product received for review. I am honest about my opinions though and always tell the truth. Otherwise why would you want to read my blog!
