Trending this fall/autumn are matte nails. L’Oréal Paris has come out with some beautiful matte colors for their holiday collection, one of which is a stunning matte black (she’s so matte 405) that is easy to wear. I usually cannot wear matte shades of nail polish but of the two I was able to sample, I found the black shade fit me better! The teal shade (matte-r of fact 406) is also extremely pretty too. Matte is so hot this fall and winter. I have the worst nails that I never get to grow out, but I still love to put the pretty polish on! The black shade would look great with some nail tape and any other color at the top. It is the kind of shade that can hold its own. Also in their collection are some beautiful overlays to go on top: gold, silver and iridescence holopgraphic pink discs. There are a couple of decorative stickers to use too. I saw the collection in Rite-Aid today and it is so pretty!

ReplyDeleteNo denying that matte nail polish is the "It" finish right now, it just doesn't wear as long as regular polish. the cool factor, they're typically unwanted.
