L’Occitane does it again. The new Roses et Reines collection is a large collection of rose scented products that are going to be on your shopping list. Reine means Queen in French. A beautiful collection reminiscent of a Provence garden in the heat of summer. Imagine a rose collection, softly scented with a sweetly seductive scent. In the south of France, the Provence region holds many fragrances but none hold a candle to the rose, which has many forms, Grasse, Bulgarian, Turkish and Moroccan. This collection is named after the daughters of the Count of Forcalquier, who were as beautiful as the roses they cherished. Each daughter, Marguerite, Eléonore, Sancie and Béatrix, married a king. These daughters became the four Queens of Forcalquier and inspired this rose collection.
I was able to try out two of the lovely products in this collection, the bath gel and the body milk. I love L’Occitane bath gel. It is luxurious, scents the skin with its luscious fragrance that stays all day long. Roses et Reines is no different. This collection is of very high quality, like others before it.

Enriched with Rose Water, this bath and shower gel is a great way to leave skin feeling soft and silky all day long. The shower gel melts onto the skin, envelops you in an elegant rose scent. The skin is left scented with a delicious rose scent with extracts of roses from Grasse, Bulgaria, Morocco, Turkey and an unique rose extract from Haute-Provence. The Roses et Reine collection uses rose extract that is derived from enfleurage, made innovative from L'Occitane. The petals are steeped in oil, which becomes saturated with this scent of the roses. As with the bath and shower gel, this body milk also uses rose extract that has been derived from the enfleurage technique. Roses from various sources, Grasse, Bulgaria, Morocco, Turkey and Haute-Provence are combined in this Body Milk to leave your skin with a unique fragrance that will last all day long. Combine with the Bath and Shower Gel and your skin will have a beautiful scent that is reminiscent of a flower garden in the summer.
