L’Occitane introduces a new skincare program that is guaranteed to give your skin a more youthful looking boost in 28 days. The 28 Days Divine Renewal Program is specifically for skin that needs a boost to recover from stress, aging and environmental triggers. When we are young our skin renews itself every 28 days. As we get older or when we are exposed to stress this changes and it takes longer for skin to renew itself, thus skin starts looking ragged and tired as we get older. L’Occitane developed a system that will help skin look younger and more radiant.
This program comes in a 28 day set of ampoules that are used in 4 weekly sets. Each week is dedicated to one type of skincare treatment. The entire treatment does take one month but it is a specialized skincare boost that works in harmony with the skin’s natural cycle. Essential oils are combined with the Immortelle essential oil to create a product that is superior in quality and rich in active molecules that will renew skin.
Every night one ampoule is used with your regular skincare program. Use the ampoule alone or with your regular moisturizer. You will find that the product is rich enough to qualify as a moisturizer. There is also enough product in the ampoule to cover then entire face, neck and décolletage (and even hands!). By using the program in the evening you are using it when skin is most conducive to cell renewal. There are even special movements used to apply the product, (see enclosed booklet). Each ampoule contains a 1 mL dose of the signature Immortelle Essential Oil and a blend of botanical ingredients. L’Occitane tested 35 working women living in an urban environment and exposed to stress over a 4 week period to see how the results would fare. Week 1 is Gentle Exfoliation. The Pistacia lentiscus or Mastic Tree provides an essential oil that gently exfoliates the skin by contributing to the natural shedding of the skin, leaving it feeling softer and smoother. 74% of participants who used this product found their skin looked more luminous and 80% found that their skin’s surface looked more even toned.
Week 2 is Hydration & Nutrition. A unique blend of four plant oils are combined with the cistus essential oil to help nourish and hydrate the skin. 86% felt that their skin was intensely nourished. and 89% felt that their skin was intensely moisturized.
Week 3 is Balance. Myrtle and Rosemary essential oils, with rebalancing properties, contribute to the overall well-being of the skin. 69% of the women thought their skin was strengthened and 83% felt their skin had improved overall.
Week 4 is Renewal. Carrot, Cypress and Immortelle essential oils provide a solution to the visible signs of aging to help provide a glowing complexion. 89% felt their skin was smoother. 83% felt their skin appeared regenerated.

After using this program for a month I can definitely say that my skin is less blotchy, softer, smoother, more even toned and looks better all around. I would definitely use this program again. It is recommended that this program be used when skin need a boost, so likely a couple of times a year or when you feel your skin is lethargic and lackluster. I love how well it performed on my skin. Especially in getting rid of the blotchiness and pigmentation. This is a great product (as are all of the L’Occitane products) and I think it performs well.
