As I have mentioned many, many times, I am in love with L’Occitane. I first started using the line 20 years ago when I lived in Paris. It started with the Shea Butter Hand Cream. Since then, I have been able to use many of their products and I have never tried anything that has disappointed me. With that said, I am going to tell you about a product from their new Pivoine Sublime line. In this line are many new skincare products that has an extract the comes from the Peony flower.
The Pivoine Sublime Peony CC Cream Skin Tone Perfecting Cream is a light, hydrating cream that immediately transforms during application from a white cream to the color of your skin tone. It visibly creates perfect-looking skin. Your complexion looks even, fresh and luminous. The L'Occitane Laboratory has combined the skin-perfecting peony extract with CC pigments and illuminating pearly particles. This ultimate combination of ingredients helps to immediately and visibly create perfect-looking skin.
Skin feels comfortable and protected with a SPF 20. The SPF 20 comes from Titanium Dioxide 15.43 %, which is a mineral sunscreen that anyone can use without fear of an allergic reaction. Use it at least 15 minutes prior to sun exposure for maximum protection. A mineral sunscreen is better than a chemical one because there is no fear of an allergic reaction, it is natural and Titanium Dioxide works on the skin to help reflect the sun’s rays, thus preventing sun damage and sunburn. Photoaging is stopped in its tracks this way.
This product comes in one shade, Light. It gives skin a fresh and rosy skin tone. Because it adapts to the skin shade, you may feel as if it might not match the skin when it first goes on but it does adapt quickly to the skin shade. It does not take long for the shade to meld with the skin. Apply to skin with fingertips instead of a sponge. If you feel you want a more “sophisticated” look (their description, not mine), use under foundation. The CC Cream is good at perfecting the skin tone. It is not a foundation though and has light coverage. I would also like for you to take a look at my review of their new Immortelle Precious BB Cream (http://bit.ly/1L9aFyD).
