Review: My Konjac Sponge #konjacsponge

my konjac sponge bamboo charcoal

Using a Konjac Sponge is one of the best way to cleanse your skin. These sponges come from the konjac root (root of the Amorphophallus Konjac plant) that has been used in Japan in for thousands of years. The root is also known as konnyaku potato or elephant yam, is a plant that is native to eastern Asia. The sponges often have bamboo and charcoal in them to help clean skin that is acneic and oily.  They have been used in Asia for hundreds of years to cleanse skin. The sponges are made to the highest of standards, using the purest volcanic rock filtered water and food grade konjac. These sponges are found in Whole Foods, King’s Food Market and major online retailers such as Amazon.com. If you take care of the sponge it will last you for many, many months. I love how well these sponges clean the skin, taking off makeup like it’s nothing!

It retails on Amazon.com for $10.00: http://bit.ly/1JkiZN4
